34 Days left:
It's official. I'm pretty sure i've driven everyone at work nuts talking. dining ressies, Mickey's Halloween party, Park tickets and hours (who goes home at 8pm??)
I've long since driven DBF Ed crazy, but he's holding up well as he helplessly watches his hard earned money go towards things like Halloween party tickets, a 'king room' and mousekeeping tips. He's never been on vacation before, much less Disney, and keeps asking me "every vacation doesn't cost this much? right?"
And now i turn to you, my fellow Dis-aholics. It has become clear that whenever i start to talk, everyone's eyes glaze over, and so i need to talk to people who 'get it'. Probably everyday till i leave. Which is approaching quite rapidly (although, not fast enough in my opinion)
There will be discussions of things that i'm currently talking to myself about. Like, will i be able to see the inside of Space mountain with the lights on, while riding the newly reopened PeopleMover?? My coworkers don't care. they don't even know what a PeopleMover is. (for shame!)
There will be pictures. Of planning binders, countdown posters, and custom made tshirts. eventually of food, rides and gloriousness that is Disney.
But until i see those purple signs, and a welcome arch, we shall discuss and plan. Everyday (hopefully) I'll be working on something new, something Disney trip related. i'll give you all some stories to get to know us, and learn about our trip.
Todays Project My planning binder! i've been falling a bit behind with it, so it's time to get this baby updated. I still need to add the park hours, food and wine info, and our dining confirmations. Well, nice typed versions of these things. because the chicken scratch torn out notebook pages that i used the day i called disney dining doesn't quite cut it.
Tomorrow: How I decided we were going to Disney.
