October Illuminations Cruise

DH and I would love to do an Illumination cruise on our October trip. We have not set exact dates yet, but will most likely be going Columbus weekend. Just curious if we can find 8-10 other people to book an Illuminations cruise with. The Pontoon boat hold "10 comfortably, up to 12" people for 140.84 + tax. With just 10 people it will only cost around $15 per person to do the cruise!!! So....if you are interested in possibly booking this cruise with us, send me a PM and we'll set a date and get things going!

Hi Sunny,

Good luck getting your cruise! They are tough to book. Me and a friend tried for seventeen different days in December and couldn't get one 90 days earlier. There is a thread on the Theme Parks Atractions & Strategies Board for all of you with tips and people who want to share cruises - you might want to check it out

It can be done, got one third day of trying, first day they were all booked, second day I was offered a wishes cruise, but wanted to wait for illuminations, tried the next day and got the one I really wanted, which was on my DD's 9th birthday very very happy, so don't give up when its time to try, it can be done.

Claire I did get a choice of seventeen Wishes Cruises, LOL

I think we were just unlucky - but we followed all the advice about called before the office open etc etc - it worked for CRT but not this

Does it matter when you try for it? I mean Oct. is a less busy time for the parks, but I am assuming that does NOT make it less busy for the cruises?

October is the month that UK children get a week off school so three weeks in october are popular with British Holiday makers. I went last year from 21st october until 11th November and it took me 10 days straight of trying to get an illuminations cruise and then i think we only got one due to it being halloween (31st) good luck but you will probably find someone who has room for 2 during your time there who are willing to share..
