October hours

While I am curious to see the hours - am I the only one who they really won't affect my touring plan?

I feel like I am missing something!!

It won’t greatly affect my touring plans. The only two things that I am curiously awaiting are:
1-Blizzard Beach schedule as it closes for yearly refurb sometime in late October. I am hoping that I can squeeze it in, but even if it is open, I am not sure that I can. I haven’t put much thought into yet as I don’t want to stress about whether I can/can’t go.
2-The important thing for me is ADR times. The schedule for the various parades and nighttime shows is based largely on the parks hours. For example, Wishes show time can vary up to 2 hours in October depending on what time the park is open until. That is a large window to schedule your ADR around if you want to see that show.

All that being said, I am not overly stressing about it...more of a curiousity to see if I may have to reschedule some ADR’s.

I am sure that there may be other reasons for folks to think about it..but those are the two reasons for myself.

The hours themself won't greatly affect my plans, but the EMH schedule will. We prefer to avoid the EMH parks for the day, so that affects my ADR schedule. But Wishes and Fantasmic will affect those dinner ADRs, so just crossing my fingers that I made my guesses correctly when I set up meal times.

16:50 (UK time) and still no October hours - please hurry up so I can finalise my itinery :teeth:

I talked to customer service today and they said they were coming out tomorrow!

:headache: Hurry up with those hours Disney!!!!!

2:30 p.m. and no hours yet! :sad2: I have to go to work now and won't be home until after midnight (eastern time)!!! :crazy2: So, if what Redbudlover said is correct and the hours will be out tomorrow then...I'll actually be getting home from work tomorrow morning! Guess what I'll be checking when I get home! ::yes::

How will MNSSHP affect my visit? I think that Oct 13th it is happening & we planned MK that day as we end our cruise that morning.
I don't think I will want to participate in MNSSHP (no kids this trip), but wondered if it closes the park early to people that don't participate.

I can't really figure out what it is, other than you can wear costumes, characters wear costumes and you can get candy from CMs....so why would I buy an extra ticket for that???? am I missing something? Clue me in - I might not want to miss it!!!!

Trying to plan around MNSSHP so I need the hours!!!!

Once the hours are published do they ever change as the time nears?

YES THEY DO!!!

It's very impoirtant that you keep checking back as your trip gets closer. They also play around with EMH days after the original release.

auntie k -- They will close the park to non-MNSSHP visitors at 6pm on an MNSSHP night.

My touring plan won't be changed UNLESS they seriously monkeyed with EMH. Since this is the first time with EMH and MNSSHP, I am wondering if the schedule will be altered.

Otherwise, no changes expected. There's just a little finality to the planning when you see the hours, even if you know that changes can happen.

Thanks Bob, for scaring the heck out of me! :earseek:

I figured they would enjoy torturing us. Change is good, right?

This is going to be FUN!

How far in advance will it be set in stone, or can it change at any moment, even while you are there?

:maleficen

Yes, it can change all the way up until the time you are there (it has happened to us).
