October Hours

EMH is for Hotel guests for early entry into DCA or DL on select days. MM is for ticket holders of 3+ days for early entry into DL only on select days.

So on MM days if the park opens at 8 am, you can get in at 7 am? And since MM days are the same days at EMH for Disneyland, does that mean DLR guests get in at 7 am too?

This is posted on the Disney site:

Extra Magic Hour

After September 29, Extra Magic Hour will be available every day, during registered Disneyland Resort hotel Guests' stay, according to this schedule: Disneyland Park on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and Disney California Adventure Park on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Each registered hotel Guest (ages 3 and older) must have a valid theme park ticket and active hotel room key card.

To enhance the Extra Magic Hour experience, it is strongly recommended that Guests arrive at least one hour and 15 minutes prior to regular park opening.

Applicable theme park, days and times of operation and all other elements including, but not limited to, operation of attractions, entertainment, stores, restaurants and appearances of Characters may vary and are subject to change without notice.

Subject to capacity, cancellation and other restrictions.

This is the second place I posted this information ...always looking for ways to up my post amounts :rotfl:

Do you happen to remember where you saw that quote? The only one I found (and I'm obviously not the best hunter here) says:

Starting September 30, registered Resort hotel Guests will have Extra Magic Hour access to one park according to the early admission schedule.

To see the early admission hours at each park, please check the Park Hours and Schedule.

(and yes, happy to help you up your posts!)

Aha! I saw the PP's quote on the DLR website. When I went to look for it it had changed and I can no longer find it. Now they are no longer being specific about which days at which parks. I thought I might have misremembered.

BeckWhy
What's the difference between Extra Magic Hour and Magic Morning?

hey me too!!! we are checking into pph on Sunday Sept 30th and will be in the parks from Oct 1st -5th. So glad that I am not alone in this. I check that darn website at least twice a day

As other said before, hours for October will probably be out this week end for Disneyland rarely has more than two months out at the same time.

Let's see the positive side : we know for sure that it will be Hallo...ween time in October for it's posted on the Disneyland Website!:lmao:

Who goes into the Reserved area in front of the CCT area?

We were in the CCT area on 08/18. I didn't notice when they opened that reserved area up and have no idea who got in there – but it was full by show time.

We got to the CCT area about 45 minutes before the first show time (we were running late!) - but we got right up to the fence, so no problem. We do prefer the WCT area and very much miss the Ariel's meal deal. We loved the food at Ariel's Grotto and loved sitting on the lakeside patio when all the lights came on.

Hallo

.... is it me you're looking for.
Cause I wonder where you are
And I wonder what you do
Are you somewhere feeling lonely or is someone loving you?

we should start placing bets on when it will be up. Kind of like you do when someone is going to have a baby. At least that way we would be having some fun.

Another message,

i just got an actual phone call from a gentleman named "mike" about the e-mail i submitted. he had no idea that dates were not updated. he began by giving me the 6 week out spiel and verified my date of arrival. i told him very politely i checked this morning and it still has not updated...he went to the website and well...he's as confused as we are.

i'm guessing (hoping) the website will be updated over the weekend once august is over, but why would someone make an actual phone call without having the information? i wrote an e-mail stating my frustration with hours not being posted on the website for the first week in october...am i wrong, or should he have checked the site before placing the call?

as a former CM at WDW, this really shouldn't surprise me...in fact, my frustration is gone and now it's just pretty funny!

I noticed that Disneyland closes at 7PM on Friday, October 5, while DCA closes at 11PM. What happens when the parks close at such different times, does everyone go to the other park and fill it up to the brim? :)
