Does anyone know when the schedule and hours for each park for October will be posted on Disneys site? I am trying to decide if we need to stay an extra night (Friday) or if the evening shows will be during the week at all!

They come out about 6 weeks in advance. The first days of October should be up.

The Calendar was updating every day then it stopped updating on Saturday(or Friday) and hasn't been updated since. Must be retooling the schedule for Helloween.

October 1st should have been up yesterday. right now it's 3 days behind. When they do post it it will probably just be the hours they seem to fill in the rest as it gets closer to the date. All of which just drives me nuts. I would love to know what's going and when for my days October 1st-5th

why isnt the disney land site havign the first week of oct hours yet? its been like 4 days with no updates it was moving everyday im waiting for the oct 4 sceduel with batted breath (to have fantasmic or not to have fantasmic that is the question) lol

They just updated the calendar with a purple banner that reads "Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort". Still no updates past Sept 29 though.

Clicking on the banner takes you HERE

•Narrowly escape the clutches of freaky phantasms on Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.
•Drop in for ghostly encounters and hair-raising thrills at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™.
•Be treated to a 4D sneak peek of Disney's Frankenweenie, Tim Burton's newest stop-motion animated feature, and the limited-engagement Art of Frankenweenie exhibit.
•Meet and greet some of Disney's wickedest villains, including Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Maleficent and more.
•Experience the enchanting nighttime spectacular World of Color.
•See over 300 uniquely carved pumpkins at the Main Street Pumpkin Festival.
•Trick-or-treat at Mickey's Halloween Party on select nights at Disneyland park and enjoy exclusive entertainment, including the Piratepalooza dance party, Mickey's Costume Party Cavalcade and the Halloween Screams fireworks spectacular. Separate admission required

Hopefully that means within the next few hours that they will be updating. I need to start some planning myself for that week. I am just waiting for the hours to post to be able to figure out meals and such.

We still have 3 weeks before our days come out but interested to see what the hours are like the weeks before so we can ballpark our plans for now. Only been on ToT once so looking forward to seeing what they do to it for Halloween. :earseek:

Do you think they will have fireworks on Columbus Day (Monday, Oct 8)? It might be our only chance to see fireworks because our trip is all mid-week.

Last year they didn't do anything special, but you never know! It would certainly be cool! Last year the Halloween theme was really only emphasized at DLR, and DCA looked pretty much the same as it always does. Well, as much the same as it could with construction walls. So I wouldn't get my hopes up about a Halloween overlay, but who knows? With all the new stuff at DCA, maybe they'll step up the decor, too!

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one waiting. Our trip starts Sept 30 and I've been checking every day. I really need the park hours to start planning our character meals, park strategies, etc. Another factor may be the start of the new EE rules that Sunday, perhaps?

It is mildly annoying that WDW already has the park hours and entertainment schedules out for our upcoming trip in February 2013 but Disneyland doesn't even have the park hours posted for our trip that's coming up in 5 1/2 weeks!:rolleyes2

There should be some sort of issues with what the hours will be for I don't think it's a technical problem...

We'll see soon. Maybe they will wait a few days and release the entire month!

I figured on Monday Oct. 1st that I could do a slightly later character breakfast (8:40 res) and still have lots of time in the parks. I just want to make my WOC & Fantasmic plans. Those are really the only things I HAVE to hit. I didn't have a chance for Fantasmic the last 2 times I went (16 & 19 years ago) and WOC definitely wasn't there then.
:upsidedow

lol, I've been checking the site all day as today is my day off from work and was really looking forward to completing my schedule.

Unfortunately the last week of September seems to be stuck on " Hallo " lol

I merged together the two current threads about October hours (it seems to me that there may have been a third one not too long ago, but I'm not sure where it went).

I made a reservation for the Blue Bayou October 11 at 9:20, and she said the restaurant was staying open till 10, so I'm guessing that the park will be open till 10 or 11 that night and probably the rest of the October week days.
