jcemom, are MGM's hours "normal"?

Wondering if there's any truth to the rumor of a possible MGM Halloween Party....

MGM's hours are 'normal' for that time of year. I was hoping for a new party as well, but I don't see where they would put it. :confused3

Does this mean we can get our Mnsshp tickets now?
:yay: :yay: :yay:
No, tickets are not on sale yet. I don't know when that will happen, sorry. I do know that in the first couple of days tickets were on sale last year there was a lot of confusion on the part of some of the CMs and some mistakes were made. (I happened to be one of those with a mistake, lol, got tickets for the wrong date.) So, this year I plan to give it a week or so after the on sale date before I order my tickets. :teeth:

I read on the rumors board that MGM is going to some kind of Pirate Party to coincide with the release of the PotC movie, so no MGM Halloween this year - but sounds like next year is a good possibility.

They do have the Party dates. They're on their Events page.
Thanks! It looks like the same list of dates we got at TGM, and the same that my DU agent had. Notice it doesn't show the 12, 19 or 20 parties? MK closes on 6:00 those days with no Wishes though, so I think they'll be added to the list of MNSSHP at some point.

The dates are listed on the DIS. Just click on DIS home at the top of this page and it's the first thing listed under Recent Updates.

It also says detail information will be added as soon as available.

Do you think that the hardest tickets to get are the Oct. 31 tickets for MNSSHP?

For those of you going in October it is a blast. We went last October. Let me give you some hints. If you can, go to 2 MNSSHP. Go on a Tuesday and a Thursday if at all possible. Go to the 2nd parade. After that parade is when everyone starts to leave. You will get plenty of candy. Don't worry about that. Make sure you make ADR for either LTT or CP, that way you can have dinner (shoot for the 5:00 hour) and still be in the park. Oh in case you haven't done it, get the insurance for your trip. Remember last year....Hurricanes...not to damper on anyone's happy times, but it's just good to know. We were there when Wilma was hitting. Funny, early in the am, we heard about the closings of the parks for both WDW and US/IOA, but yet Sea World was open.. Go figure....See at the bottom of my signature for trip report with pics from this past October.

More tips...don't be afraid to dress up. You will get to ride plenty of rides. Oh and if you haven't ever been, give US/IOA a shot. You might be surprised....Different atmosphere and plus you will have Halloween Horror Nights.

All and all remember this tip..No matter how far away or how close your trip is, enjoy this now. Enjoy going on the boards and reading all that you can. Because once it gets here, your going to wish you had just that much more time....

But enough about that.....Feel free to ask any questions... I will be more than happy to answer them...Try PM....

Oh and if your going to be there on Halloween, even if it's just during the day, there is nothing like riding the HM on Halloween. pirate:

Now I must go to sleep as we are going to Disney on Ice tomorrow for the Incredibles goto the Magic Kingdom. I figure, if we can't go to Disney in 2006, might as well go to Disney when they come to town.....
