Hey,

Ive seen disney have released their hours for Oct :yay:

But I thought Typhoon Lagoon was closed due to seasonal closure and Blizzard Beach open. As when I went in Oct 2005 is was closed.

But looking at the Oct hours on each of the park they are both open!!! But im sure one of them would be closed!! Is this right? :confused3

I personally prefer TL to BB anyway!! My mum loved TL and it always reminds me of her (she passed away nearly 5 yrs ago)

Yip just spotted this sorting my days too???

Interesting word 'Confuzzled'
I must make a note of it and use it more in conversation.

As I said to my friend last night, the hours that have been posted on this board need to be taken with a pinch of salt, I think. As of yesterday, there were no October hours showing either here on the DIS or on www.disneyworld.com

Not sure where the person who posted the hours here got them from but I suspect they are a 'best guess' based on last years (having compared them with last year).

Personally, I am not that desperate at the moment so will wait for the 'official' hours to appear on disneyworld.com

didnt TL have an extended closure last winter into spring? so maybe they feel they can leave it open longer this season

From what I've been reading for my trip. TL with be open this year, BB will not. Which is fine by me, TL is the better park of the two IMO. :D

Most years one of the waterparks closes late October but last year it was earlier as TL needed a long refurb due to the wave machine in the big pool needing alot of work over the winter.

Claire ;)

As mentioned earlier one shuts back end October and the other December time. But due to TL being shut for the extended period this last time I would expect it to stay open.

from what i have checked the hours are spot on, need to recap EMH yet

I think they're correct too. The source on the PDF seems to be disneytravelagents.com which is a legitimate site. Stuff gets leaked online by those 'in the industry' all the time and it's highly likely travel agents would have access to the hours earlier than the general public IMO.

I would trust the Disney Travel Agents site myself they have always been spot on with everything in the past:thumbsup2
