October Hours are up for MK

Just checked DisneyWorld.com for kicks and chuckles to see if there was anything there and what do you know. Oct hours have been posted for MK and WS. Nothing up yet for FW, AK, ST or the water parks. for the time we are going 10/16-10/24, they look better than I expected. Not that I think they are final by any means, but so far so good!!!

For WS, it is the regular 11-9 except for 10/9 which is listed as 9-3 for some odd reason.

It will be Media Day starting at 4.
Media Day will be the 8th at MK, so stay away from there that day too.
We're going to be there that week, so I make note of these dates when I read them somewhere recently.

Well, Oddly enough, this morning they had Future World hours up, but no World Showcase, now this evening they have World Showcase, but no Future World. I imagine they are just in the Process of getting everything up. They don't have Spectro listed at all either so I am hoping they are just in the Process......

As far as the 8th and 9th. Yes, they are closing Mk early on the 8th for Mickeys Philharmagic media event and they are closing Epcot early for Mission Spaces media event on the 9th. Both happen to be my planned days in those parks, of course. I had only planned on being at those parks in the morning anyway so I am going to stick it out since I have my Priority Seatings made.

Actually MK is open until 8:30 on the 9th - I think the media event for Mickey's Phil Harmagic is on Wednesday the 8th.

It looks like the are expecting lots of visitors starting end of that week - MK open until 11 on Saturday! These hours will have me taking a look at our itinerary and finalizing PS plans before Monday!

Wow!! I'm so excited that MK will be open until 10:00 on our arrival day (Sat. Oct 25). However, the only event listed that day is the Share a Dream Come True parade at 3:00. How far in advance do they decide to have Spectromagic? We have never seen it before and specifically planned to arrive on a Saturday so that we would have a chance to see it.

Would it be safe to assume that since they are having the media events on the 8th and 9th that Phillharmagic and M:S will both be fully open after that? We are arriving on the 16th and would love to be able to see both.
