No way to predict what the rest of the world's population who might be planning a trip to WDW will do. ;)

But there's no real difference in those weeks other than being closer to Halloween, but that's not exactly a big deal either way.

Given those two choices, just pick the week most convenient for you.

We have always gone in October. From approximately the 20th - 30th. That hits both times you are asking about.

Crowd levels are about the same, however, this last October was MUCH more crowded than the previous years. The only thing that gets busier during the end of October might be the Halloween party. We love that party and even if you don't have any children with you, you still might want to check it out (a week night is best).

October is also when the food and wine festivial is held at Epcot. That is also a very nice reason to go in October.

Weather is still warm enough for swimming......sometimes!!

Have Fun! :cool1:

Thank you so much ,MY DM she will be with SD AND I, would love EPCOT , TAKE CARE

We went October 29 - November 4th this past fall. Be careful not to avoid Jersey Week as that DOES affect crowd levels. I googled a New Jersy website that showed the dates of the state's annual teacher's conference, it's a perfect time for families to take off and head to WDW so the crowd levels go up that week.

We avoided MK on Halloween which was Monday, went to MGM instead which was empty, and then Epcot which wasn't bad either - only wait was for Test Track and Soarin, but not bad. Avoided all the extra magic hour parks. On Tuesday morning we had an early character breakfast at Crystal Palace, went straight to Fantasyland and rode every single ride without a wait. Well maybe 5 minutes for Dumbo and the carousel but that's it. Have NEVER experienced that before. It was wonderful.

I wore a jacket tied at my waist because by evening I needed it. And alot of the attractions have AC that is a little too cool for my comfort. The jacket came in handy several times.

Have fun!

THANK YOU MARY AND DS ;)

I am taking my kids out for three days in October-always said I wouldn't also.I am interested in info about the Halloween party too.

Love October!! We were there in 1999 Oct 16-21; 2002 Oct 11-17; and 2005 Oct 22-30. Until this last trip, I always said that the weather was perfect after the 16th. This year it was hot, humid and rainy the 22nd and 23rd. After hurricane Wilma passed through, the weather was beautiful for the remainder of the time. Quite cool in the earlier mornings and evenings.

Crowds are almost as difficult to predict. I know from talking to CMs and conversations on the busses that it was very crowded this past October during the last week due to all of the people coming to WDW to ride out hurricane Wilma. Many were without power at home.

I have been to MNSSHP twice. The 2005 party was the best!! The parade was so good and Hallo-wishes was fantastic!!! Plus I rode my favorite ride at night - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - three times in a row as fast as I could walk through the queue. I wanted to enter MK when the party opened because I love the atmosphere of entering the park on that night, but you can enter after 4 with your MNSSHP ticket to get more park time. There will be a certain area you need to be in during the time MK closes and the party begins. I would get tickets for a week night.

What a great trip!! Have fun!!
