October Golfing Special

I was not sure where to post this, but just found this in the latest issue of the AllEars newsletter.....great deal for the golfers.
...from Dan from Virginia: I just made my tee times for my upcoming October trip to WDW. I was pleased to find out that Disney is offering a two-round special for that month for only $169. As a result, I'll be able to play Osprey Ridge ($135) and Eagle Pines ($114) for only $84.50 each. The best part of all is that there are no tee-time restrictions (like the current summer tee-time special), so you can secure early tee times and still have the rest of the day to visit the parks. The Cast Member who took my reservations explained that they haven't started advertising it yet, so if you are calling to reserve some golf times, make sure you ask if you qualify for the two-round special. Finally, according to the Cast Member, the Palm and Magnolia courses will be closed that month to prepare for the PGA Funai Classic.

Thanks for posting that! I know my DH will be thrilled! I always "allow" him (LOL) one golfing day at WDW...but now he will have an excuse to do TWO days! I mean, with a deal like that...how can I make him pass it up? LOL! Plus, it is annoying cuz he always gets later tee times to try to save money. This way he can golf when it is cool in the early morning, while we are sleeping in or doing a "mom/daughter" activity, and, like you said...have plenty of time to go to the parks or whatever with us the rest of the day.

He was, however, wanting to schedule a private, videotaped golf lesson with Rodney this trip. That is the anniversary gift I gave him in May and he said it was well worth the $75. BUT...it was at the Palm/Magnolia. Wonder if this will affect the lessons.
