October discounts

We are thinking about going in Oct for the Halloween party. What are the annual pass discounts like for the Disney resorts. Do you know where I can find the information.
Also, are all the characters out for the party and is it worth it?

Generally the AP discounts are between 25-40%. If they come out it should be sometime in the late summer.

As for characters, yes, they're out in full and yes they're all in costume. It's a great alternative to either Universal's Halloween Horror nights or Busch Garden's Howl-O-Scream.

but keep in mind how much higher the AP rates for May / June are this year than they were last year (moderates were $74 last year, $109 this year)...

Just and FYI, but discounts this year are a flat dollar amount off hotels and not a percentage. Also they aren't as good this year as they were last year, at least so far.

And YES YES YES YES the Halloween party is worth it. This is my favorite thing to do at WDW! All the villians are out around the castle too. It's soooooooo much fun!
