October Deal$ ?

I'd like to promise this is the last question Ill ask about October, but I dont lie.

What have been the "classic" deals (if any) in October and whats the strategy for booking now (to assure a room!) but get the deals later? (If there is such a strategy.)

Special AP rates from September 2 to December 15, excluding Thanksgiving week, just came out. $129 at the Paradise Pier Hotel, rate plan AP4.

The announcement only mentioned Paradise Pier, but sometimes discounts can still be had at the other hotels as well, it's just not advertised. I'm not sure about the 4th night free thing, but I'm betting they would include AP rates on that. It doesn't hurt to try!

I can pretty much guarantee that they won't let you combine AP rates with teh 4th night free. From what I understand, the 4th night free deal is for packages only, so AP's wouldn't be able to take advantage of it anyway.

To the OP: When in Oct are you considering going? Have you considered taking advantage of the gaydaysanaheim discounts?

The AP rates that I was quoted were:
$129 for PP
$149 for DL
$199 for GCH

I'm so happy that I saw this post!!

gaydays is an annual convention for the gay community and their families at DLR. This year it falls Oct 5-7. The convention offers discount parkhoppers and DLR property discounts.

We have taken advantage of these discounts in the past and do not participate in the convention in any way.
