October crowds

I posted on the attraction boards but didn't get a response. This board seems more active so I hope this okay. We have gone the past two years the first week of May. The Thursday before Mother's Day was very busy at MK. (over an hour wait for most rides. The WL wasn't as busy this past May though. We are going to AKL 10/6-10/10 as a bonus trip this year. How will crowds be this time of year. We are hoping to get more done at MK with our 3 and 6 year olds. This is Columbus Day weekend and the 8th is MNSSHP. Which day would be least crowded at MK ...Thursday or Friday? How are crowds in general for October? I have read all the travel books but you guys really are the experts!!

We were there last year the first week of October and the crowds were very manageable. We waited in a few short lines but nothing over 10 - 15 minutes. We actually did everything we had planned to do and had time to do some of the things twice. My little ones just loved test track and rode it 10 - 12 times in one day. MK was more crowded than any of the other parks during our stay but nothing really extensive. It was so nice we are considering going back again at the same time. MNSSHP is usually very crowded and it was last year from the beginning to the very end but our family loved it. I hope this has helped.

We have been to WDW in October a few times. Each time, the parks were never crowded and often we were able to walk on many rides and attractions. If we had to wait, it was a very short wait. The great weather and lack of crowds makes October a great time to visit WDW.

So glad to hear the crowds will be manageable in Oct. My DW and I are staying at PC Oct 6th thru the 12th. We are very excited to do MNSSHP on the 8th. See you there!!

DH and I have been several times in October and it is a beautiful time of year to go to WDW.

The crowds have always been manageable for us. Have a great time. We'll be there in Oct too.
