October crowds?

How crowded does it get in October? I heard that a lot of UK people go in October due to a school holiday. When is the best week (least crowded) to go? My daughter will be 7 months pregnant, and the less crowds the better. We will also have my granddaughter, 4 years old, and my grandson who will be 18 months. We want to try to slip in one last trip on our APs, and need the cooler weather and the least crowds possible. Thanks!

October is usually pretty uncrowded; sometimes, though, tour groups of young people can make the parks seem very crowded.

We're also going in Oct., so I'm interested to hear what other people have to say. I can say that we went in Oct. a few years ago and it was really hot! We vowed to never go back in Oct., but since then, we decided that that weather was likely a fluke. I do remember the Brazilian tour group crowds from that Oct. trip...even with so many tour groups, the crowds weren't TOO bad. There was one group that kept cutting everyone in line though I remember them because they all wore the same shirts ALL week
