Pick the best day for you. According to the last poll, October 11th was the best day by number of votes. But there were a few people who couldn't make that day. So let's get one last vote, and the majority wins.

As for location, how about a mall meet?? We have had some good meets at Stratford, and it is somewhat centrally located. Also, maybe after the mall, we could head over to one of DG's favorite places, CULVERS!!!!! I think there is one in Schaumburg, at 1800 Wise Rd., which is only like 5 miles from Stratford. Has anyone been there???? Is it OK??

Let's set a date!!!!!!

11th works fine for us, Brian. Stratford is great, and Culvers is good afterwards also. Hope we can get a nice turnout for DG's last Chicago meet. Well, you'll be back for visits, Trish.

11th would work for me... need to check out hotels and look into flying vs driving though.

I'm home on the 25th for fall break. The 11th works but I would need some oh so lovely person to drive me to and from Greencastle which I imagine is a good four hours from Chicago.

So far I haven't been scheduled to work on a Saturday, at least through Oct. 4th..so I voted for the 11th.

What is Culver's? Any plans for a Friday night get-together?

Culver's is ICE CREAM... although I think that they have food too but who needs butterburgers when there is ice cream...

I voted for the 25th but we might be able to make it on the 11th.

Voted for the 25th. Hard to make the 11th as we have things going, at minimum, in the morning and I have a business trip the next day and need to leave the house at 5 am.

If you are gonna be at Culvers, that is way too close for me not to attend :)
I voted for the 11th, but have no clue if that is going to be a black-out day at the store. I have a feeling it might be since it is the first weekend after the release of Lion King.
Hopefully if I do have to work, my shift will start or end at a time so I can meet up wth everyone.
I think I have my 5 year old addicted to trading, so he will be tagging along. Not to mention his addiciotn to Culver's chocolate ice cream. Oh, and there is his mother's addiction to the caramel cashew sundae :)

WARNING - CULVER'S IS NOT ICE CREAM IT IS CUSTARD AND IT IS VERY ADDICTING!!!!!! :) :) :)

But not only is their custard awesome so is their food!

Dr P answered for himself but I may have something going on the 25th but I won't know until it gets closer and it might only take a few minutes. I'll be wherever on whatever date whenever I can - may have to drive separately. I just have way too many things going right now to determine what date is free for me.

I voted for the 11th. I'd have to bring my DS3 as DH & DS8 will be out of town. We return from WDW on the 9th.

Minimally, I'm sure I could con my DS3 into ice cream. Culvers does have the best -- along with the cheese curds. We've been to Culvers several times....it's close enough to our home to walk there.

This could be one reason to choose the 25th over the 11th:

Attention, Disney Club members...go to the Disney Club website for info on requesting 4 FREE trickets to the Oct 25th screening of "Brother Bear" in Chicago! If enough of us are DC members and get tickets to share...maybe that could be part of our meet!

We must be pretty close to one another then. We cant really walk to Culvers, but we can walk to Village Tavern.

I was just at Culver's for lunch today...never mind, the "lunch" part, let's skip straight to the dessert part!!! They have the best, hot fudge choc brownie sundae....a friend and I always share one, it's GREAT! So, yeah, Culver's is good! And, it's not really that far from Stratford, if that is where the main meet is going to take place. :)
