Just delaying getting ready for work and saw some good prices via trip advisor for October around half term. The best dates were two weeks from Tuesday 19th October to Tuesday 2nd Nov for £396 and one stop in Dublin.

Not dates we can use but might suit someone. It was cheapest booking direct with Aer Lingus and there were some other dates around that price too.

Edit: Doesn't look you can get a family of four for that price but didn't go up too much with 4

That is a good price!!! Which UK airport are they offering these prices from?

That was MAN->MCO via Dublin.

I'm going to look into it in future as they have a premium cabin and having the change early in the flight out appeals to me more than having a second flight after a long transatlantic one.

Sounds good to me. I am very happy to fly from Manchester so no problems there. Did you look directly on their website? I know there have been several posts in the past saying that people have been very satisfied with this airline.

I actually spotted it from the Tripadvisor flight finder as it's quite good showing you the cheapest days to fly over whole months, you then drill in to search for cheap return flights and it took me through to a verification page which then said it was cheapest booking direct with Aer Lingus. Expedia for the same flight was over £500 for some reason, I think Expedia has had it's day.

Seems a good flight on a newish Airbus A330 in 2-4-2 configuration for economy and 2-2-2 for premium although can't find the price for premium.

That looks a good price, its almost the exact dates that we are going and with Dublin being just an hour and a half drive from us it would have suited.
we did talk about leaving the booking of the flights till later when we booked, but I`m almost sure DG would have had a nervous breakdown worrying about not getting flights or them being too dear or having to go via Portugal or something.

Anyway , next year we are probably going to go Aer lingus so you have given me some food for thought as to when we should book the flights.

we fly with them 2nd oct for two weeks from glasgow and they were by far the cheapest airline with the most direct route. So its GLA to Dublin and onto MCO. They were even the best for flight times as well. Ok we have to get to get to glasgow but it was still cheapest we found. And they let us pre book extra leg room seats at time of booking and not having to wait until 24hrs before. Just hope they are as good as the reviews.:thumbsup2

I'm sure I asked you before, but what time is your flight? You leave from Glasgow the same day we do. We are on VA at 14h05. Was yours in the morning? I might be confusing you with someone else.

nope you have asked me before and we go out of GLA at 8:25am and then we have a 2 hr 45min wait in dublin so we leave there at 12:15 and arrive in orlando at 4:35pm. Its funny as DH and I have never been to ireland and keep meaning to go, so our first vist will last all of just over two hours and all we will see is the airport :rotfl:

We really hope we are at our resort by 7pm at the latest so we can hit WGPE for dinner at DTD.
