Hello Disney Fans,

DW and I are already discussing a possible 2015 trip during the week of Canadian Thanksgiving next October. DS is in university and now they have "fall" reading weeks (which is another story I know).

Please help with any feedback on the following:
- crowd levels in the parks
- weather (still hot and humid?)
- off-site points of interest outside of other theme parks etc in the Orlando Area (fall related themes)
- if you have visited during this week, would you go again?
- any regrets not being back in Canada for our Thanksgiving celebration?
any other feedback on this week is greatly appreciated!

Check out the October crowd calendar at easywdw.com for crowd levels and park recommendations.

Crowd levels are fairly moderate, but our Thanksgiving falls on their Columbus Day long weekend. You have to select your park days more carefully to account for Halloween party nights at MK, and the huge crowds at Epcot F&W on Fri and Sat nights.

When we go to WDW we don't go off property, but you can check out the Orlando tourism sites for ideas.

Weather is still hot by our standards, but less humid than Sept. We prefer to go during cooler and less busy times of the year.

We flew down for the long weekend last October. Loved It!

We did MNSSHP on the Friday night. It was sold out, but we loved it. We did Epcot on Saturday. World Showcase and Future world were moderately crowded and totally manageable, but the Food and Wine Kiosks? CRAZY CROWDED!!!! The kiosks on Sunday were a bit less crowded.

The weather was hot, but not humid. Perfect really!

All in all it was an excellent trip and we might do it again next year. We booked Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner on Sunday for our Turkey feast. We did not miss Thanksgiving at home at all! :goodvibes

We were just there Oct 2-13.

There were several extreamly humid day. Everyday was 30+, loved it.
It was busy (free dining, long weekend, food & wine) but manageable.
Didn't miss thanksgiving at all, we had our dinner at LTT, was delish!
Oct is our favorite time to go :)

Here now. We have noticed a considerable drop in crowds from last week to this week, as well as a drop in humidity.

We have been many times during Thanksgiving. Perfect weather and crowds.

We love having dinner at Ltt and watching the strange looks we get as we toast to Thanksgiving.:thumbsup2
