We've done October the last two years during our school's "Fall Break". This year, though, my daughter is in college in AZ so we're waiting for her Christmas break to do Disneyland. We'll be going the week before actual Christmas for 4-5 days. We're excited to go back to Christmas theming as we used to do mid-Nov during the HomeSchool days. We've not been real fans of Halloween theming, so Christmas should get us into the Disney mood we really love.
I know October is pretty dang busy in the parks. Enough where getting Genie+ was a must (as much as I hate to pay extra for that service). I've read that October is the busiest time of year these days. But when I went to book hotels, it was about $100 more/night. I realize that this may be the crazy inflation we've been in the last few years and not just overcrowding. But I was wondering if I can expect the same types of crowds we get mid-October, or is it even crazier at Christmas break?
