What are the chances of snagging a 2 bedroom at BLT during the first week of October at 7 months?

You can probably get a lakeview studio the first day of your window. Standard view studios will probably be long gone.

That hits the Tower of Terror 10 Miler weekend, so it could be tough. A one bedroom might be more possible. We were very lucky two years ago and got a one bedroom exactly at seven months out at BLT, lake view.

I snagged a BLT 2 bedroom with less then 6 months, standard view for the last week of the month.... but I think that was pure pixie dust helping out....

For both Oct 2013 and 2014, you would have found for Oct 1-8 on March 1, exactly 7 months out from date of arrival, that standard view 2BRs were gone for four (dedicated) and six (lock-off) nights in that week, Theme Park one (dedicated) and four (lock-off) nights, and lake view missing one (dedicated) and three lock-off nights in 2013, and one and 4 in 2014.

A different question is what you mean by first week of Oct. Oct 1 in 2013 was a Tuesday and in 2014 a Wednesday. If you are looking at 2015 and you are really talking about the first full week in Oct, 4 to 11, that begins on a Sunday then be aware that no 2BRs were available at BLT at 7 months out in 2013 and 2014 for the Thursday before Columbus Day to Columbus Day.

I actually was planning to book Sept 27 to Oct 3rd. I will be booking my home resort BWV, but am hoping to slip into BLT for all of part of that week.

My waitlist for a BLT 2 br lake view for Oct 11-16 just came through! I waitlisted at the 7 month mark. Never dreamed I would get it!!
