Looking for help friends!

As July 30th quickly approaches, I have to finalize my dates. We were going to go for the last two weeks of October. But I started playing around with the idea of the first two weeks...but all the crowd calender predictions show quite a difference between those time frames.

We have been at the very end before and I was so sad that most of the Halloween merchandise was sold out. But I also would like it be the least amount of busy as possible lol!

I would really appreciate any opinions on if the first two weeks are THAT bad (crowds, what about rain...is it rainier than the end?).

Thank you all so much in advance!

The end would be cooler and less rain. I don't think crowds are bad at that time either.

We definitely prefer the heat! Crowds and rain are my biggest issues. Which I know a rainy at Disney is better than a sunny day at home anyways, but I'd still prefer the sun at Disney lol!

We went the first week of October last year and had a blast! As for the weather, it might have sprinkled on us once, maybe. The temps were warm, but not unbearably hot. Lots of pool time in the evenings.

The crowds were very low (usually between 1 and 3). Most rides/meets (pre-frozen) were 15 minutes or less. My daughter and I got two free paper fast passes our last day there, due to getting stuck in the middle of SM, but we didn't use them as there was no reason to bypass a 10 minute wait.

I don't follow the crowd calendars religiously, but I always thought the closer to Halloween, the higher the crowds...

While I know Columbus Day sees a spike in attendance, my experience with the last week of October indicates otherwise.

As for the question at hand, while I'm a big fan of the last week, I think you'll do just fine going at the beginning of the month. Crowds aren't, historically speaking, considerably higher and October isn't traditionally a rainy month.

Weather-wise I'd go more towards the end of the month as it will be more comfortable in temperatures and rainfall.

Thanks! We have tonnes of resort days planned for swimming too! We are staying onsite for 11 nights split between BC and AKL and then offsite for the remainder where we will be park commandos!

I saw the Columbus Day holiday and wondered about that....I know when we were there last time near the end of October, I had told my husband how it is suppose to be a "slower" time and we actually found it busier than the last week of June/first few days of July!

I think I may have to flip a coin on this one lol!
