Would like to ask if anyone knows when Mickey's Halloween Party takes place.

Does this event take place in all of October and is it on just certain days?

We will be there 9/27-10/3 and would like know if it would be going on one of the first 3 days of October.

Also, does this event require ps or buying tickets in advance?

Thanks for any help.

Some projected dates are floating around but the firm dates are not out yet and tickets have not gone on sale yet.
You need a hard ticket for these events at an additional cost.
they empty the MK on those nights and only allow those in with the tickets.

Just spoke to a CM today and he said the dates won't be out until sometime in July.

Too funny, I just spoke with a CM earlier and they said end of April, beginning of May. Amazing how two people, who should be on the same page, are giving out two different bits of info. I am just going check the boards and see what comes up.

Are you sure that your not thinking about the Christmas Party?
Usually the Halloween Party goes on sale in late April.

We went to the first MNSSHP last year and it was the 1rst Fri. of the month! We are planning a trip the same time frame this year also! We bought tickets in April last year! :Pinkbounc

I called the other day just for the heck of it to see if they new when the dates were going to be and CM told me that the party will be the last two weeks of Oct. like last year. So I asked if she was sure it was the last two weeks and she said yes just like last year. Well, I will be watching the boards and I'll call again in a couple of weeks.

I hope you are right jacksmom. We will be down there the first friday this year.

The halloween party is not an every night event at the magic kingdom. There are special dates during october that its available. I seem to remember from last year that it was held on each weekend, but I may be wrong. I will just say that it is awesome!!! Im a big halloween fan and the atmosphere there was incredible! Main street was so cool looking and it really had the halloween atmosphere going. it totally blew away my expectations for it and it will probably be a yearly trip for us from now on.

Last year there were 10 MNSSHP starting the first Fri in Oct. and ran through Oct 31 on special nights .The party takes place at 7:00 PM to Midnight at the MK.

This is a special event which requires a seperate ticket. You do not have to use your theme park tickets to get into this party.

LAST YEARS TICKET PRICES were:

In Advance: Adults (Ages 10+) $31.90; Children $26.58
Same Day (If Available): Adults (Ages 10+) $35.09; Children $29.77

I don't know if the ticket prices will go up but they probably will because there was a price increase on all the other WDW tickets a few weeks ago.

I've had the CM's and MK Guest Relations tell me the tickets will go on sale the last week of April....I'm hoping they're right! :D The best place to find out when they're actually on sale is right here on the DIS board!!!:earsboy:

Thanks for all the information. These forums are awesome!!!!

One more question. Are the rides all open during the halloween party? I'm sure they would be, but just asking to be sure.

Thanks again for all the help!!!!

We have never been before & if they start the 1st Fri in Oct we might be able to go this year. How crowded is it for riding rides & stuff? I know they limit the ticket sales, is it less people than is usually there during the day. Trying to figure out if it's worth it to go. I know my kids wont be able to stay up till midnight, but if we skip the parks that day & get naps they will be alright for while.
