We're leaving tomorrow morning, but then again we're only about 25 minutes south of the port so I think we may be the last to head out. Look forward to seeing everone tomorrow and safe travels!
....see you at the port.

That was my SIL, Janet being medical debarked with Tachycardia (sp). The medical staff on board was fantastic but they couldn't get her heart rate below 200 so the Coast Guard sent a boat to pick her up - gurney, defibrillator, oxygen and all. DCL sent a nurse with her and it looked like a bumpy ride indeed. Fortunately, when she got to the hospital they had a medication that DCL can't keep on board that stabilized the heart rate by about 8:00 Saturday night. She stayed with friends in Winter Haven when she was released from the hospital on Monday and was able to join us for breakfast yesterday morning and ride the DCL bus to the airport so she got a little taste of the Magic. Guess we'll just have to take another cruise so she can experience the full deal. There was also a medical emergancy on board that wound up having to leave the ship versus what looked like a very bumpy little boat.
I heard a child with a broken leg was air ambulanced home from Cozumel because of the severity of the break. My guess is that this is the one you saw or heard about. Seems like the medical staff had a busy week. Hopefully they can get some rest this week. But let me add for a second time how fantastic they were.
I hope no one ever has to use their trip insurance. In fact, I bought it for our whole crew and figured it was just "the cost of the trip" since we had some folks with health issues (both going on the cruise and other family members) that might have caused cancellation. Turns out Janet had a recurrance of something that hadn't bothered her in 15 years, a totally DIFFERENT health issue than we ever thought of. Janet's trip insurance is gonna be the best $62.00 I ever spent!
