I see that all of you are busy gettting ready to take off to paradise...wish I could say the same thing. I am the worlds BIGGEST procrastinator. Don't get me wrong, I have been busy; just not getting ready for this trip. I flew to NY this past Wednesday for the day and today I am going to see The Jersey Boys (the broadway show is on tour here right now). We are then supposed to go bowling with some friends. The kids last day of school for fall break was on Friday so they will be off now and they will be all over me in the next couple days to amuse them. I always do this to myself and always swear that I will "be more prepared, earlier next time" but I never follow through. It never fails; I am like a tazmanian devil the day before we leave (not mention a bear when someone talks to me) and my DH gets angry at me and says you had a year to prepare, blah, blah, blah. Oh well, I always manage to get it done and I guess this year will be no different. We will be ready to leave bright and early Thurday morning, somehow!

Laura, you may be the most organized person I have ever seen! Could you teach me? lol Thanks for all your hard work!

I too have been putting off doing things..don't know why, I have had plenty of time to at least start something..but have I? NO! Biggest thing I need to work on right now is clothes. I am only working 3 days this week so I only have to figure out 3 sets of office clothes..the rest I can actually get packed..But is still have new stuff to throw in the washer. Oh man, why am I not getting it done. Do they have a procrastinator's annonymous?

Rellyrooly, It's as if I am hearing myself speak! You COMPLETELY describe me to a tee!! I haven't even been organized enough to get back on these disboards (which I LOVE and swore I'd keep up with as the trip got closer) until last night.....We too have been so busy and DH is on two out of town business trips. Between work, school (which just ended for us Fri. too) and keeping up with life......getting ready for the trip has taken a back seat. I ALWAYS do this to myself too and ALWAYS swear that next time will be different and it NEVER is!!!
It has been fun catching up with all the posts and it has gotten me more "in the mood" to think about packing before midnight the night before. We are soooo excited here. Just need to get organized (TODAY!!) and get through this next week. We fly out early Friday am.......
Hope you are all having a nice Sunday and can't wait for 1 week from today when I wake up on the Magic!!
Rellyrooly, you live in AZ - right? Maybe we should think about starting a procrastinators self help group.......Problem is, we'd probably never get around to actually getting to a meeting.....ha ha ha!!

DW has just about finished sewing her Wenches outfit for Pirate night

I did find this cool "Monster Power" 6 outlet strip for charging the cameras etc. and we scored an new 'wet bag' for snorkeling/diving as our old one had seen better days.

Ohhhh, am I glad to see I am not alone!! I have 4 more loads of laundry to do today before I can even plan work outfits for the week or think about packing a thing!!! Funny about our "support group" comments......I feel better just knowing that I'm not the only one. I'm married to the most organized man in the world and he just doesn't "get" my inability to do things ahead of time.......I think he started his packing list last April!!
Well, I am so glad to be back on the disboards.....better late than never, eh??
Okay, off to tend to my first load of laundry for the day. Wish me luck! Being the procrastinator I am, I'll probably have 20 posts here before noon
Gotta make up for lost time, right?

Happy Sunday! We are almost there!!!

I have pulled out the suitcases and will actually start packing today. I made all kinds of shopping trips purchasing last minute items to pack this weekend. My button arrived on Friday and DH just went to pick up our documents from the ILs house . Yippee!!! We are on our way!!!

We leave Thursday for Orlando and are spending the day Friday at WDW and then MNSSHP that night. I just CANNOT WAIT!!!!

I also can't wait to meet you all!

haha No I am not. I thrive on DIS-organzation (when the DISboards suck all your time up... lol)

And I had to force myself to make that cabin map. I really want our meet's and planned activities to go smoothly. I feel somewhat responible for it all, so I have to keep plugging away.

And for the record I had so much stuff left over in all my suitcases from last trip it's going to take me half a day to empty them, just so I can start filling them. How sad is that!

Ok..it is time to get off my hiney and get to work..should we call it work? Maybe I should call it vacation tasking..that way I won't put if off..
Well, really I do have to get off here and get something done this weekend. Weekdays are just too busy to do extra stuff like this. It's all I can do to get supper cooked ane the kids to bed on time during the week.

Rebecca-so funny about the club...yeah, we would be too lazy to make a meeting...hysterical! I am in the AZ club. You know Shirley, right? It will be nice to see her again as it has been a year. Do you also know Jen shaeff? She was on our cruise last year also but haven't heard from her... You are the family that is in 8532, right? Our Friends were in that room last year and we were in adjoining 8534. We LOVED it. I have a different layout cat 3 this year. I hope I will like it as much...

Selket-We are going to MNSSHP after the cruise not before. Darn it! Anyone going after?

Yep, "Mrs. L" was my daughter's teacher 3 years ago! I LOVE her!! My how time flies! I don't think I know Jen, although the name sounds familiar. The Hayes family is also from our school and are friends of ours, so we will be seeing lots of familiar faces on the ship which is SO cool!! We are in 8532 and we are adjoined to one of the 2 other groups of friends that we are vacationing with. In all, we are a group of 13, I believe! Our other friends are down the hall in ?8522? I think. We went on the 4 day trip over Spring Break, 2005 and stayed in this same room, I think. Love the layout. Our same big group went that time as well but we were scattered all over the ship, so it will be nice to be closer together this year.
Hope you have a blast at Jersey Boys. I have heard wonderful things.
Okay.....off to try to quit procrastinating and get some more laundry done!

Well all the clothes are thrown into suitcases. The dog is getting worried. He knows we are leaving him so he is under my feetevery step I take. I can not seem to pack neatly or finish the task. I need to get it finished. We leave Tuesday at 5:00 AM. We will spend so WDW time before the cruise and we will be at the MNSSHP on Thursday (less crowded - shorter lines!!!) My family is very excited.

Well AZ friends, we never planned a pre-cruise meet this year... I guess we need Jen S. for that. I thought she was coming with us again this year. Jen are you? I do not remember her writing to say she cancelled but I have not heard from her this year. My son is already starting the "do I have to go to the clubs" talk again. I told him he needs to try one thing a day but he can leave if it is terrible. I think eventually he will love it although - 3 cruises and not yet . I do not know if I will actually force him to try it but I will encourage him.

Well, if I do not check in again (I'm sure I will) have a safe trip and so you soon!!!
