**@@** October 6th, 2007 Magic**@@**

Jenna is on Fall Break, so due to travel, will only miss one day.

What we are worried about is the two weeks she will miss for the Panama Repo cruise!

Hannah and Zachary won't miss any school. We start fall break on the 29th of September and don't return to school until October 17th!!

Can't believe that we leave in less than 4 weeks:cool1: I have been working on my packing list all weekend:banana: Just need to go get a few more things then can start packing those suitcases:yay:

-Bridget

gouodux, how old is Jenna? Sorry, I can't remember. I think some experiences are not to be missed and the opportunity to cruise through the Panama Canal is one of them. Treat it as a history lesson.

If I had the vacation and the money, I'd go in a heartbeat! I actually got to see DD on the PanCanal webcam on the last Panama Canal cruise. That was a totally unexpected treat.

WELCOME TO ALL NEW PEOPLES THAT ARE JOINING US ON THIS TRIP!!!:grouphug: :grouphug: :cloud9:     :happytv: :happytv: JOIN US!! We love to talk!
We are planning so much fun and everyone here is so great! :woohoo: :woohoo: Yes, we are getting closer...docs should be coming here real soon. PACKING??? I should be packing now?? Man, I can't need to pack yet..I haven't even washed my new cruise clothes yet!! :laundy:

Well, DD9 has surgery tomorrow and I will be home with her for a few days. Maybe I can get something done between the running and fetching for her...:lmao:

See ya all L8TR!!

Amanda will miss 5 days - Her school is off on friday the 12th .............. She works to get ahead of the game before we leave, so she is not that far behind .....................

Just a reminder... If your interested in the Margarita tasting please either email me or PM me your NAMES and Cabin Number ASAP. I would like to shoot off an email to the Concierge staff later this week to get the ball rolling on it. my email is UsedtobeSmith@aol.com or PM here on the DIS (I'll admit to checking the DIS more than my email)

Also this is a GREAT week to order your buttons!

Boo! Thanks so much for the shout out. I really hope I dont come across as this crazy over planner person. I try hard not to be. BUT like I have said a few times in this thread.. Why hang out with Stranger Strangers when you can hang out with wierd ones. With that said, I dont expect us all to be chained together, just figured since there are things a lot of us want to do, why not do them together.

OH OH OH Also I would love to get an idea of who is going to try and make the 3 pm meet at the Promande Lounge? We could in theroy have well over 100 people there (hope that doesnt' scare you all away) Think of the PHOTO OP! Plus I have a fun game I want to play with all the kids, and it would help if I know how much of what I need to bring....

***And I think the last real thing we need to decide is the day/time for the stateroom tours. I kinda of tossed it out there a few weeks back. I know a few of us are willing to open up our staterooms for others. So far we have the Cat 2's and 3's covered. I know I would LOVE to see a Cat 7 and both the Sideways Cat 11's and the normal Cat 11's. Oh I I would like to see the difference in the Cat 4's and Cat 5's. OMG I AM DISNEYCRAZED!

A couple of time ideas for the tour.. Meet up at 230 and breeze through as many as we can (maybe hitting Deck 8, cat's 2,3 and 4) before the official Meet at 3... Then the other options are one of the Sea days. I am open to suggestions. Personally I would prefer to do it with out my kids, because I want to Video tape them all and put them up on YouTube for other crazied DCL fans... But again I am open to anything.

Ok Ok I really should put a 2 minute timer on when I write posts so they dont get this long.... sorry.

:goodvibes Would love to tour the staterooms! Seeing them in a picture is just not the same thing!
Not sure how things will be going with DGM to say we will absolutely be there tho..so put us down as a definite 'maybe'.:confused3 Will do our best. But with the flight and all the travel- just need to make sure DGM is well adjusted and able to handle everything. She is fairly frail but determined to go ('as long as she doesn't hold us back'..Her words-not mine) I, on the other hand, am determined to make sure this is a trip she will never forget! (In the best way!):cloud9:  I am a little worried how she will take the flying..she has inner ear issues and I am hoping it doesn't effect her too negatively.
We will be at the 3pm meet- got to be out and moving anyway. Might leave DGM in the room for that one if she feels like taking a breather. But I just have to put faces to all these names!! Are we going to have labels to put our names on? So we can call each other our 'true' names? I am adding our names to our buttons but we all know they will be small...not too much room - even on the square ones.
Is there anything I can help with for these gatherings? Feel like I am jus following along..but sadly since this is our first cruise ..ever...we are flying blind. Except, of course, the glimmers of light that shine from the Disboards! :hippie: :thumbsup2 We will be meeting in such a short time!! How cool is that???

OK, we're in a Cat.5, Deck 7, Starboard amidships, so it should be pretty typical - Will make it available for the "videotape", if needed :thumbsup2
c ya real soon!:hourglass

I would also love to see the different categories, especially the 2s and 3s. We're in a Cat. 6 aft on Deck 5, if anyone is interested in that.

Ok, it is all becoming real now....so real, in fact, that I was looking in my closet this weekend and started to freak out that I have no clothes! Being that we own a golf course, I have a lot of golf apparel (which I really have no need for on the ship) and not much else. SOOOOO, I temporarily went INSANE and spent $800 at BeBe in the mall. I keep telling myself that I deserve it and not to have buyers remorse. I'm almost ok with it....lol Oh well, you gotta live a little, right?

I am also happy to tell those who are going to WDW that the Haunted Mansion will be reopened by the time we get there (it was closed for renovations). Just in time for MNSSHP!

:rotfl2: we are really getting some where now, can't believe it is just around the corner. been soooo long waiting. not that i'm impatient, i'm not ready yet. gotta go shopping. and i hate shopping. just kidding, i need to conserve my assets so i have spare cash for excursions. and frivilous things to remember the cruise with. meet is good as far as i know, and rooms tour sounds very interesting too.  keep up talking, i'm learning new things every day.:cheer2: :cheer2:

:cool1: :cool1: Wow, just 25 more days to go!!:cool1: :cool1:
I just finished skimming over previous post. (You guys have been busy.) While searching, I noticed that alot of our cruisers are educators from the Tennessee area. DH and I are also in the eduaction profession. We also live near the Tenn. border in Ringgold, Georgia.
:grouphug: Can't wait to met ya'll.:grouphug:

Can you explain your Advatar? :tink:

I really didn't do all that much shopping for the trip. I mean I got the kids their new fancy clothes, dh some new dress shirts, but other than a $10 skirt at Kohls, nothing for me. (well if you dont count our pirate outfits that is.. giggle)

Between our cabin, tips and the Dolphin Encounter we are broke! :lmao:

I am really excited that so many are interested in the Cabin Tour. Our Cat 2 is right off the forward elevators.. and the more I think about it the more I think a Sea day is best... there is so much going on that first day, it seems like too much. Maybe we can fit it in before the Margarita tasting??

Sure, I love to brag about my son.:wizard:
He is all big into the acting thing for the community theater. This is a picture of him as John Darling in Peter Pan (my favorite by far). It was an amazing sight to see my son flying across the stage to Neverland. An unforgettable moment that I will always cherish. Even if he doesn't acknowledge my existence anymore. (Typical teenager).
Thanks for asking.:flower3:

Hey, how about a Touring and Tasting? A different margarita in each room, kinda like a sea-going pub crawl:rotfl2: Bet the Concierge has never had THAT proposed before.

(BTW - just kidding, I know you all mostly have kids - but it IS a neat concept)

At 2:30 on embarkation day the stateroom hosts and others will still be delivering luggage and the halls can be somewhat congested. I think we should avoid extra traffic in the halls then.

I vote for the stateroom tour either Sunday morning before we get to Key West or on Monday at sea.

If we get the rooms we've requested, we have 3 sideways Cat 11s and would be glad to show someone our room - AFTER our stateroom host makes the beds. Exactly when depends on what's available in the Navigators. There are a couple of activities that I definitely want to do on board. Guess I need to get busy on a magnetic door sign or two or three.

Sorry it took so long, haven't been on in a while....

giandave23 = Gia (36) and DH David (34) - 3rd Disney Cruise (2nd western) traveling with David's family :) We are in stateroom #7067 - everyone is welcomed to do a tour of our room...one person at a time please...hehehe:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I can't believe we are finally 3 weeks (from this Friday) away! Its great booking so far ahead (Oct 05) so we can pay over time, but it takes FOREVER to get here....and it finally is!!!

Take care and Im sure we will run into you guys at some point!!

I agree, the first day is no good.
Key west morning, timing wise would be good, but not stateroom host timing good (ie beds not made and such) Does anyone know what time the Stateroom hosts are normally done?

The first sea day is a posiblity... perhaps either before or after the Margarita Party...

It's so hard to figure out the best time without seeing the Navagators, and even then I am sure we all will be interested in different thing at different times :goodvibes

everything will fall into place...
