Fish Extender List


What is a fish extender you ask?

Every stateroom has a fish hanging on the wall outside the door. This is part decoration and part message center. The fish is there for Disney to place important communications to you such as excursion tickets and notes from the Cruise staff. It is like a mailbox for your room.

All the people in the exchange buy little items and place them in each other's fish extenders. It is great fun to come back and check the items you have received.

I have personally done this on our last Disney cruise -- I had a lot of fun planning with my then 8 year old and then delivering things with her during the cruise! It was a lot of fun!!

Requirements for your Fish Extender are:
~~ you are able to hang it from the Fish in the hallway
~~ it has a pocket or pouch to hold the gifts you will receive

Thats it. Breathe. Relax.

Where Do I Get a Fish Extender?
Get out those crafty hands and ideas...
Some folks make their own Fish Extenders.
Some buy Fish Extenders from places like e-bay.

I will be keeping a separate list for cruisers doing the FE exchange, please PM me your details, include your cabin number please, I will not be posting your cabin number here. I'll be keeping a list and emailing
the list to the participants a week or so before the cruise date

We are in! I submitted a req to join the FB group as well. We are a fam of 4 plus grandma! My boys are 10 and 8. Very excited!

Me and my family are booked for the 10/6 wonder and excited to participate in the fish extenders! It is my husband and myself DD12, DD8, and DS6
I sent in a request to the email provided to join the facebook page. I rarely log into DIS anymore... Looking Forward to it!!!
