Bad news - I still have 1 more Monday to wake up and go to work
Good news - Only 1 more Weekend.
Bad news - Only 1 more weekend to get everything I need done.

If you won the sand toy/door hanger lottery this morning that is less things that you have to pack and more room for your fish extenders. pirate:

We didn't have any sand toys in the first place. We wanted them for the kids and forgot to buy them before the end of the season. So that doesn't help.

I have less than 9 days before I leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I finally completed the online check-in forms. I printed out the contract signature sheets, to be signed by me and my husband. Also the payment authorization forms to be signed. Is that all that is required? Please set my mind at ease!!

11 days and I'll be in Florida!!! YEAHHHHH

Hello recent cruisers:

I was reviewing my notes and documents from April 2007 cruise and came across a notation i had jotted down.

In 2007 we used Magical Express to get the port from MCO on Saturday morning. In my notes I have jotted down that we received a document to fill out in reference to travel to Bahamas. I do not remember if it was possibly a custom form. Since I was a newbie and new we were traveling to Key West, CG, Cozumel and CC. Since we did not have Bahamas on our trip I did not fill it out on the bus over to the port. Arriving at the Port and checking in I had to rush to fill out that form, since i was surprised to learn that CC is actually a Bahama Island.

I checked our cruise documents from Disney that we got a week ago, and did not notice the form for the Bahamas.

Does anyone know if we will receive that form at the Port and have to fill it out at the check-in desk?

I know that check-in and ID photos on KTW cards are now required but I could not remember if all adults had to sign the form for the Bahamas.

I know that we had to fill out a customs form coming back into the country, but nothing going out that I remember. Last year, I only filled out the forms online.

Ok, I really want to make it to 1000 before the cruise. I have 63 left now. It's going to take a lot .......

James Patterson is a great author to read on vacation. His books are a quick read so you should have no problem getting through the whole thing. Plus, each chapter is 2 to 3 pages, so you can pretty much stop at any point.

Doesn't the ship itself have a little library/lounge? do they have books to borrow?
.

Yes, the ship has a library you can borrow books from. I always leave my books on the boat for someone else orf the crew to read instead of hauling them back home.

I think this has been asked and answered on another page but I can't find it anywhere. How tall, is the space under the beds to store a suitcase. I have a short fat suitcase instead of a tall skinny, story of my life. I just want to make sure I can get it out of the way while on the cruise. Thanks!!!pirate:

Steve -

We didnt have any form like that last year when we cruised. Just the customs form when we returned. All the forms you must complete and sign are in your cruise packet and on the website (They are the same forms) and it is prefered that you complete the online forms and print and sign those over the small forms in the book.

Your photo is embedded onto the KTTW cards but not printed on the cards just as an FYI, didn't want you thinking there was a problem next week when you get your cards.

Ok folks… people are starting to pack, some are even leaving the left coast for the right coast later this week so its time to get down to it… It’s time to start the packing list/must do reminder lists.. Please list those items that are must haves, you can’t forget items and lets use this list so no one forgets the most important things.

First things on my list which have been moved to the suitcase pile or will be in the next day or so:

1. Passports (or birth certificates if that is what you are using)
2. A color copy of Passports/Birth Certificates which will be packed in a separate bag than our passports (ie. Passports will be in my purse/copies in my roll-on) for embarkation, then copies are kept on me when we leave the ship but separate from my passports. If you lose your passports or BC these copies are your saving grace with the US consulate offices.
3. Call the bank/credit card companies and notify them I will be out of the country and what countries I will be in so they don’t turn off my credit cards/ATM if they see foreign activity and can’t reach me.
4. Go online and stop mail deliveries
5. All medicines moved to the suitcase pile, copy of prescriptions with my documents
6. Move my backup glasses to suite case pile (if I lose my glasses I am blind so I must bring my backups)

What else ……..

.

Question - do you copy the whole passport or what????
