Hi all

I haven't checked in some time, my bad! We are almost under a year

OT - My parents just contracted the bane of all cruisers, the dreaded Norwalk virus. They just came home on Sunday from a 7 day cruise (NOT Disney!) and both got sick on board. Dad is 90, so this has us a little nervous. He's not actively sick any more, but just doesn't feel right. He's going back to the doctor tomorrow AM. Everyone stock up on Purell!

I'm sorry to hear about your dad and mom getting the Norwalk virus - I hope they get well soon.

A year from Friday, yeah!!!

We just Booked the Country Inn Suits (321)784-8500 for the night before the Cruise. We have a 2 queen, 1 pull out suite for our family of six, Free parking for the week, free shuttle run buy the hotel to the ship, Free breakfast at a rate of $199/night. I checked the other hoetls around the ship and hear is what I found.

All deals are comparable with the exceptions noted:
Residence Inn (321)323-1100 $151 (AAA rate) + $6/person for the shuttle ( it is a couple of bucks cheeper but the Country Inn looked nicer to me)
Holiday Inn Express Cocoa Beach (321)868-2525 $169 + $8/person for the shuttle $20 discount on post cruise stays.
Radisson (321)784-0000 $209

I was just coming here to remind everyone that the hotels have opened up reservations for the cruise now that we are a YEAR out and I see that Susie has done that

We booked last night at the Radisson. $139 for Double King Room with free continental breakfast and free parking and shuttle service for the week. We need to sleep 4 adults so I am happy with the rate.

We stayed at the Radisson for our cruise two weeks ago and we were beyond happy with the accomodations, breakfast, free parking and shuttle service. We highly recommend. Oh yea, the hot fudge brownie sundaes thier are to die for

Hi All --

It has been a very long time since I checked in. We leave for Disney World for a week on Thursday, Beach Club Villas, so we are VERY excited about this trip, before I can even think about next year's cruise. We have begun to talk about the cruise at home but, before that, we need to visit with Mickey and the gang along with the new princess fairy attraction in Toon Town. I am sure that I will be busy planning once we return from the "world."

Hello Everyone! We just got off the Magic Saturday after enjoying a seven night Western Cruise!! We loved it and have rebooked on board again for this cruise! This will be our 5th Disney cruise so if anyone has anyone questions about the western let me know!! Our party consists of me Jeanette, my husband Brian, my son Logan (age 8) and my daughter Kelsey (age 5).

Susan - Was wondering where you went... We bit and have a trip to the world planned for February. I just knew I wouldn't make it, not going to the parks in 2009 and we couldn't do it on either side of the cruise so this will be perfect.

I would love to meet up on the cruise. We just traveled with 2 other families which our children where all friends which worked out great. This cruise our family is the only one who rebooked for this cruise so it would be nice for our kids to make some new friends. When we cruise my son Logan will have just turned 9 and my daughter Kelsey will be 6.

Hi everyone!!

We just booked this cruise a few days ago! My DHs birthday is October 30th--so we are celebrating (just a tiny bit late) by taking our first 7-day cruise. We've only done the 3 and 4 day cruises thus far. We just returned from a four day cruise on November 6th--and now that we are cruise addicts (LOL), 4 days just seemed too short. Besides my DH Phil, cruising with us will be our adult daughter Katie and her boyfriend Mark. I haven't read the entire thread yet--but wanted to say HELLO and join in the fun!

We're interested in joining the fish extender group. Is there someone I should contact regarding that?

For those new to DCL cruising don’t worry that the board is slow… It will pick up after the holidays when everyone is in cruise planning mode.
