Ok ... QUESTION OF THE WEEK - *****Important One ********


I've been pricing lanyards and name badge holders.

Basically, I need to know the price that you are willing to pay for *each* lanyard/badge holder. I am having difficulty finding these that are a decent price (including the set up and shipping charges). Just the lanyards I'm finding are averaging over $1.50 each, and that doesn't include set up or shipping - AND insists on a 100-piece order. And the zippered (just the little business card holder things) badge holders are over .50 each. That's already $2 per person, plus shipping and set up.

So .... pipe up, tune in, shout out, and let me know. What are you willing to pay for each lanyard/badge holder?


If you know of somewhere I should look, let me know that, too. I'm searching all over the place....and I'm frustrated.

Welcome!! Glad to have you on here. We'd love to have you on our chat, too. We chat (officially) on Sunday nights at 8. Kids (if you're bringing any) chat on Monday nights at 8, and (unofficially ) some of us chat on Wednesdays at 8:30. It has really helped all of us bond! I hope you'll join us.

As soon as I get a final amount, I will PM my address to everyone. You can send me the money. I will order them, create the name tags that will go inside, and *mail* them to everyone in September/early October. That will make it easier than distributing them on the ship.

what is our fish extender count as of late? I have seen several people recently request to be added to the list.
Are we capping it at a certain number of people?
Are we cutting it off on a certain day?

We are making some of our gifts so we need to budget our time properly to make sure that we make the right amount in time. We also don't want to spend time making too many extra ones.

In Disneyland, Disneyland Paris and Disney Hong Kong it's Sleeping Beauty's Castle. And in Tokyo Disney it's Cinderella's.

Great question, Jeff. You'd think Disney might do different Castles at each park. But I guess there aren't that many pricesses that live in castles anymore.

Thanks for the updated arrival time for us at Key West. But now I, along with several of the other guys I'm presuming, will have to choose between getting off the boat or watching the kickoff of the 1:00 football game. How am I gonna choose?

We had a great time in Virginia, by the way. The weather was really good until the last day. Then it reminded us why we live in the dry west.

Disneyland Paris opened in 1992. I only remember that because I spent that summer backpacking through Europe and Paris was my last stop. I went to EuroDisney in August just after it opened. Interesting to see a new theme park just after opening. Lots of folks from England were there and all the shows were done in English, French and German.

Wow!! Got through all 82 pages. (Now I can actually get some work done at work). Just to help people get to know us better, I thought I'd answer all the past questions of the week.
1) What are we looking forward to most - Everything!! First DCL cruise and first cruise for the kids.
2) Favorite character - Me - Mickey; DS - Stitch; DD -Hannah; DH - many
3) Other hobbies - reading, DH is photography
4) What restaurant - AP, but really all of them
5)For formal night - DH just a suit, me - new dress; DS - cute tie/vest; DD - new dress
6)Best way to find out about chats are through facebook (addicted to Mafia Wars; not helping me get in shape at all.)
7)1st thing we will do is eat, check out the ship, and go to the pool.
