Beano : Of course you're a snob you're in the Walt suite !
Hey my shirts will be a Cassie Vasquez original so top that. :rotfl2:

I think I've said this before but..
DH Edd is a gerneral contractor
I'm a stay at home mom by day and waitress at The Luxor hotel at night.

Moranclan : Sorry about your situation . I hope you were able to tranfer your ressie. I had to do it last January, but it worked out for the better for us!

Luckey! Your DH and I will have so much to discuss! LOL!

Well ladies, I have been doing some investigating online for some of the shops in St Thomas.....OMG.... :earseek: I have found the ring of my dreams at the Haven Sight Mall. Apparently it is right where the ship docks.
it is white gold, 1 big sapphire and a few diamonds.....I know where I am going as soon as I am off that ship.....I got it right Beano....ship.

Anyone has any experience with this mall???

How much bartering is acceptable? :confused3

Also I think I already asked by not sure. Are we tendered into St Thomas???

Thanks
Back to more bling-bling shopping online

Kim

 Kim...

The mall you speak of is right at the ship dock! It's huge and mostly full of bling-bling shops!!!! Bartering is acceptable as far as I know...let me tell you a story about our last trip there...

I found a ring I loved, then found out it was $11,000..I headed for the door fast! The manager came over and told me he'd give it to me for $2,800...thats one heck of a discount! (still didn't buy it however) So, I would have to say that there is a bunch of room for bargaining!

We have docked in St. Thomas...never had to tender.

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower:

Wow, that is a huge deal. I am not very good at the bartering thing however. Even when we buy a new car, once we pick out what we like I walk away and let Mike handle that stuff.

Can't wait, is it October yet????? :cheer2:

Hi my name is Kim and I am a bling bling aholic. :wave2:

OMG....I have fallen in love with so many pieces of jewellery this afternoon.....I have never seen a pink sapphire before but I think I need one of those....wow they are gorgeous.....I think DH better take away my credit cards.... :goodvibes

I am reading some old Navigators and I have a dumb questions:

On Halloween Night, I am going to be Nani to Kate's Lilo...I was planning on wearing jean capri's (cause that is what Nani wears)..The dining room request no jeans...will there be an exception since it is halloween and people will be dressed up, or will people NOT be dressed up for Halloween??

Years ago when we were in St. Thomas I didn't buy any jewlery however blue topaz was only $8.00 a caratt so we bought 4 stones. 2 heart shaped that we set as earrings, 1 oval that we set a a ring and 1 tear drop that we set as a pendant. We got them on our honeymoon and DH had them set as my first anniversary present.

I think I already told this story but indulge me anyway DH isn't known as MR. Romance so it's nice to think about it. :rotfl2:

Anyway check out the cost of loose stones and set them when you have the $$.

Also my parents just returned for a South Pacific cruise and they got my nieces each a strand of pearls for their up coming graduation presents. Just a thought for you moms of teenage girls.

 Hi All...

Can't wait to pick out my birthday gift in St. Thomas...

:guilty: Rest in peace Bob Denver...good night to "Gilligan" . Beano will mourn your loss.

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower:

:wave2: Hey all - just checking in. :wave2:

Got caught up on all the chatter. I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend. Camping seemed to be the preferred (maybe not eh Kim! ;) ) family activity!

MoranClan: So sorry to read about your situation. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll prevail.

Kim: Where is the bling bling website!! :Pinkbounc

As Luckey pointed out, despite a new transmission, maybe loose stones are in my future! Oh I hope, I hope, I hope. Perhaps a pink sapphire, mandarin garnet or BIG FAT DIAMOND!! :rotfl2:

:listen: Someone said the ship is not full....Come on upgrade!! :wizard:

Tarzanman and other fans of the over-the-door shoe holder: Right now me, DH and DD5.75 are in category 11 not split bathroom - will we benefit from packing one of these? Also, will we really need additional outlets if I am the only one using a hairdryer?

I'm gonna need a bigger suitcase!! Not sure halloween costumes are gonna happen, other than DD. Any other adults dressing up other than pirate/tropical night? pirate:

I too stay at home - after a grand career in Medical Office Mangement. DH is a Chemical Engineer.

Last Halloween cruise I did not see anyone in costume at dinner, but it was semi-formal night.

Now for what we do--I'm a travel agent for Dreams Unlimited (so I'm at home with Trevor), and DH is a service tech for Verizon (land line.)

We won't be ordering T-shirts, but all have shirts that are in some color of bright green.

Can't believe my baby will be 4 years old tomorrow!!

Sue Ellen

Happy Birthday Ronniejo

Happy Birthday Trevor.

The website was www.havensightmall.com

There was alot more, just do a google search under shopping in St Thomas or shopping in St Marten. Lots of info.
