Sean - Yes, it could be our last Disney Cruise for a while, sad as that is. It's getting too hard to take the kids out of school now. It was easy when they were younger, but in High School... not so much. I am the first to admit it's a very depressing thought, but then again, the cruise money can pay the college tuition!

They basically told me If I go, I will have no job when I get back...

I was out of work for 3 weeks with a bad disc in my back...They took all my vacation time for those weeks...

Bobby - To put it bluntly : that SUCKS. I was really looking forward to meeting you all, and buying you a beer!

Bosses shouldn't be allowed to control people like that. At the very least, you should be able to take the time off without pay, and have your job intact.

Just got home from our WDW trip. You all have been very busy (and I have a lot of catching up to do.)

MoranClan--that really stinks. I certainly hope that your employer plans on reimbursing you the cost of the cancel penalties at this point. What a jerk!

So we get to be the guinea pigs for the dining trials on this sailing. So depending on the restaurant you start dining in that will determine your dining time (on the hour, :15 or :30) I hope this alleviates some of the picture lines before dinner.


Well, turns out my passport (and Trevor's) were some of the ones in the New Orleans office waiting for final processing (it was supposed to arrive this week.) I have to go first thing Tuesday morning to get a new one processed and PRAY they get it done in time. Just my dumb luck though (although I am truly thankful that I do not live in that area and everyone that is affected by the hurricane is in my prayers.)

Well, we are down to 7 1/2 weeks to go!! WOO HOO!!

Well, happy Sunday everybody. Today is my daughter Kaila's 16th birthday!!! I posted it on the kid's thread and I know she'll be fuming that I did it. She warned her sister not to, but didn't tell me not to. Anyway, heading out for her birthday dinner & her choice of movie.
