Hello everyone
Welcome to all the newbees I hope I get all the names...Rachel, Scott, Kyle and Madison also Sheri, Mike, Nicole and Michael.
We are also first time disney cruisers and two DDs are Hannah 10 (but will be 11 by the cruise ) and Lindsey 6. So it is good to see other kids their age.
Sheri I don't know if your daughter is disgirl94, but I replyed to her last week and told her that Hannah would be getting back to her. We are still working on getting her set up on line so she can message her. If she is not disgirl94, well thats even better news that there will be more kids that age and I know Hannah would love to hook up with her

Kathy of tstobb, we were so sorry to hear you had to cancel we were looking forward to meeting you. I hope that you can still rebook

Congrats to Cassie on her big win!!! ( that just shows you all how far behind on the boards I am..... but Im still kicking )

Yes, DisGirl94 is my DD. If I can remember correctly, your daughter is a girl scout. Nicole is also a girl scout and is very excited about talking with your DD.

Well survived the party last night. Wow they grow up sooo fast.

1PM should be OK for us also. We are touring Epcot that day anyways and should be able to make it over to the American area by 1PM. We hope to be at Epcot for openning but since we will be at MNSSHP the night before we might not be there that early. Soarin' wasn't ready when we where there last year so that is my first ride and of course we have to go to Mission Space the kids and DH love this ride. I stand outside and people watch...

Got my pirates costumes all in order, just have to find a poofy shirt for DH and we are set.

Where did you get your wench costume? (I know all of us "chicks" are becoming "wenches for a day".) I'm impressed with how far along everyone sems to be with preparations. I'll start worrying about kids costumes in the next week or two. Then, I just throw a bunch of beach clothes in the suitcases - all 6 of them

RJ- we'll be there for the 1:00 meet. Is that the Beer and Wine Festival time of year?

Actually I lucked out because DH and DS where going to be pirates for MNSSHP anyways but for DD and myself I have made what I didn't have and pieced in what I did, I have to make my top cause I could't find anything and DD already had a white poofy top. SHe wanted to be a pirate girl as well. However, I can't find any shoes to match my costume did wenches wear flip flops...

I am obsessed right now with being ready, I am such a compulsive planner that this is driving me nuts, I minute I think I won't be ready and the next I can't believe it is still over 2 months away. Packing for a cruise is much different then packing for just doing the parks....but I am so looking forward to it.

Yes, food and wine festival is on during the time we will all be in Epcot, we missed it last year but the year before it was so much fun.

I just bumped up the Teens thread for anyone looking, my DD has posted a few times but DS hasn't yet, he is working this summer and hasn't found the time.

Hey all!

Hello to all the newbies!! Its neat to see people join us - we are all so excited to get to the Magic!!

RJ - the list is getting longer!! Sad we aren't doing WDW before the cruise!

Evie - I found the launch info at spacecoast.com I think. I "googled" Florida space coast and it came right up. I bet it is also on the Kennedy Space Center website? The launch time is currently listed at TBA - I hope they do it in the evening since we don't arrive in Orlando until about 7 pm.

Cheri - I found wench costumes at anniescostumes.com and halloweencostumes4u.com not too sure which I will order. DD also wants to dress up so may have to do the fabric store search. In that case, we will have the costumes that fall apart and are therefore more authentic looking!! Not much of a seamstress.

Have a great weekend everyone! Going to BBQ with friends tonight and swim tomorrow. I love to dog sit for friends with pools!!

Thanks, OUr 8th ANNIV is oct 25 and my 3oth bday is the 29th..so a liitle bday anniv present..Also, we were JUTS at disney at the end of march and LOVE IT SOO MUCH and I couldnt wait until next march for some DIsney magic...SO HAPPY to be going ..We will be in ROOM 8590 its a Family deluxe room with verandah..We thought what the heck! LOL ~ Thanks to ALL for the warm welcome~
