I'd say that's about right, Barb, and yes, you can make the parasailing ressie too...
We parasailed on CC 2 years ago and it really was a wonderful experience. I loved every minute of it.

But I do have one little pet peeve


It's Palo, not "Palo's".

Sorry to be such an arrogant little twit, but that always bugs me. Please don't take it personally! It has nothing to do with you of course, but I have this nasty, annoying habit of pointing out to people that the restaurant is indeed called "Palo". It's not owned by someone named Palo, therefore it is never "Palo's"

Just... Palo.



Please feel free to smack the poop out of me for bringing up such pointless matters to you.


P.S. - For those who might ask, a 'Palo' is that pole they use to push them boats around in Italy, FYI.

I did find out today that the shirt could be ordered in just a black design. That would knock the price down about $3. I don't know if that would help him or anyone else out, but it is just a thought.

Guess maybe you hadn't joined our thread when meets were discussed.
We will be meeting at the sailaway party, deck 10 ..port side of the boat .

My DH & I are also hosting a "Dis" party in our suite, room 8030. Monday,October 31st @1pm. Everyone is invited and we just ask you bring whatever you wish to drink....we will have plenty of food (we'll probably have lots of drinks as well )

For those of you who have done the brunch at Palo, how long does it take? Was looking at oru info on DCL site and under what we have reserved so far it shows 2 hours for it. I can see dinner taking that long at Palo, but brunch. Anyway, we do our brunch on Monday morning at 11:30 so if it does take 2 hours we will be a little late to the party.

I've tried to keep up, but has anything been fianlized on the Dis trick or treating?

We have 4 kids in our group that would LOVE to do trick or treating...my only suggestion would be to do it before the Dis party (not sure if I'll be able to stand up straight afterwards, let alone hand out candy)

How do we do it though if everyone is going from door-to-door? Do we just have a "map" of all the staterooms participating and then travel as a group? Then whoever is staying in that stateroom can just open their door when we get to it and hand out their candy???

I'm so confused

Does anyone else have any ideas on how we can do it?

I think that it is probably a good idea if we organize something like a parade or Dis trick or treaters. Beano and I could of course video tape the event! We organize a parade and a route for trick or treating. Designated chaperones could take the kids around to the designated rooms to get their candy. That way all of the parents get to see all the kids.

What do you think?

If everyone would like, I can make a list of stateroom's that wish to participate. Just post your room number here or pm me with it and I can make up a list for all the kids to follow.


Bobby...Trick or Treat magents would be "kewl"! It also might help identify our staterooms a little more for the kids.

Hey everyone.

Happy Wednesday. Boy you go away for a few days and it takes awhile to catch up.

We are in for the shirts as long as getting them to Canada won't be a problem.

Trick or Treating is great count us in, however Ronnie I don't have aroom number yet as we are under a GTY but as soon as I have it I can send it through. We have 2 kids so please add us to the list.

We're in for Trick or Treating. 2 kids. Stateroom 6541. Hopefully RonnieJo you can get us a number to expect so we can make sure we have enough Candy. It seems like we will get more kids on the boat than we get at home. It might be fun to do the Trick or Treating as a group and then as we go from stateroom to stateroom the person handing out the candy could join. By the time we get to the last stateroom it might be a huge group and everyone else on the ship will wonder what the heck is going on.

I must have missed the post about the sailaway party.

Only 12 days until I can make Palo reservations.

Only 17 days until Disney World part I

Only 80 days until Disney World part II
and 87 days until the Cruise.

I can make magnets with clues...Ex:

You all start at Room....2012

Then from there...they have to read the magnets to get to the next room..I think they will like it..

Also...

Please Tell us if any of the kids have allergies, so we dont buy candy they cant have...

Just trying to make the kids have a great time./...and the adults too..

Maybe..The Adults can have a beer or wine at every stop..hahahah
