Happy Birthday MickeyMatt! :earsboy:

My DH celebrated his birthday 7/18 - I guess he got new cruise gear too. He asked for new sunglasses! That counts right!? :cool1:

Ladies: Whose got formal dresses? Started looking today online. :sad2:

RJ: Maybe we do need to do that shopping thing. In Tracy I have WalMart, Target, Ross, Marshalls and a very small Gottschalks. :scared1: Yep, thats about it. :sad1:

Good thing we have 4 Starbucks!! Whats up with that? Hype up the women of Tracy with Caffeine and let them go to.....Target. Its so wrong. :rotfl:

Gonna check on upgrading tomorrow. :smooth:

Johnna...

Hey, at least you can say you have those! I gotta drive to Visalia or Fresno to do any shopping :rotfl2:

I have a couple of formals I've worn in the past, so unless I find a really good deal I'll save Beano some $$ and just wear what I've got :cool1:

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

ps....no shopping, but we do have a Starbucks too!! :rotfl:

Tarzanman I guess you have a dance partner now.
Best wishes on your new found romance.
Today happens to be my 14 th wedding anniversary and I couldn't imagine being single now- a -days.

TinkRyansmom : I've been surrounded by 24 girls at skate camp.
And we (me & Cassie) leave for CA. for Cassie's big competetion on Saturday.
I have 15 bazillion things to do in the next two days .
Happy 100 days to all.
:grouphug:

OK - by the time we sail I will have celebrated #37 and since finding a swimsuit is my current crisis :scared1:

I thought I would share in case anyone happens to also be encountering the "my behind is slowing sliding down the back of my thigh" problem.

I usually wear board shorts and a bikini top. Check out www.boardshortworld.com For us girls - 3 different lenghts. God bless you if you can wear the 3" inseam!!

They have like a million different fabrics to choose from and I am thinking my whole family needs matching board shorts. :Pinkbounc

I think DD would be adorable in them although the bikini top is most likely out for her, I'll have to find a rash guard or other appropriate top.

Ah - another choice....why do I do this to myself!!?

Good morning all and welcome to Double Digits! :jumping1:

On our last 7 day, we actually did have a "shoetcase" with nothing but shoes in it!

Good Morning everyone!!!

Happy Birthday MickeyMatt :bday:

I was thinking 3 pairs of shoes, 1 dressy, 1 sandles and 1 running shoes.

I have not started my cruise clothing shopping yet. Still trying to lose a few pounds before we go, however a new bathing suit is a must.... :scared1: To bad I couldn't have a bushwacker before I do that shopping day... :rotfl2:

DH (who will soon be posting here) and I will have just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary by the time we sail, actually our final payment is due on our anniversary Aug 15th.... :scared1: Dinner at McDonalds it is :rolleyes1 ...lol

Hope you all have a great day!!!

HAPPY 14th ANNIVERSARY SHARON & ED!!!!!!

Good luck to Cassie as well!!!! :goodvibes

Johnna...

I will be celebrating #39 this year, and yes - the butt sliding down is an all too commom occurance for me :rotfl2: I wear a bikini, but usually wear my Mickey wrap over the bottoms (so as not to scare anyone :rotfl: ) I try to disregard the "flub" that still hangs over the wrap :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Kathy...

we always do a "shoe case"!! Most usually fit into one small case (but sometimes I sneek other shoes in where ever I can fit them :rolleyes1 )

Happy double digits to us all!!!!

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes :wave2: I was pleasantly surprised by my DW with an 11:30am booking for parasailing at Castaway Cay :cool1: We also booked a cabana massage for the two of us on the island as well! And my mother-in-law is treating me to a weeks pass to the rainforest room at the spa! Fun birthday gifts :bounce:

For those of you debating on shoes, I agree with Ronnie Jo, a shoetcase is the only way to go. We went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon and between the two of us we had almost 25 pairs of shoes (dress, casual, sandles, & sport) Luckily the honeymoon was only 1 1/2 years ago so we still have plenty of caribbean clothes that will work perfectly for the cruise.

Yes indeed, we are down to single digits. Next week I get to put my vacation time in. We can only put in 90 days ahead of time. Once I put my vacation time in, it will seem even closer! Have a great day everyone!

here are a few pictures from last week. The back of Cassie is what our DIS shirts looked like (Prepare to be boarded! Disney Magic July 9-16, 2005. -One of the DIS'ers found a site that made good quality shirts for about $12-15 each.) Two other shots are of the sailaway party (duh! :-) and the last is the verandah we had. Like Chris said, questionable weather but good food, and Cabo was awesome. Oh, yeah, I had a few margaritas that weren't bad either :rolleyes1

My Dw is starting to presure me about cruise attire, but I keep putting it of for now. We are waiting for the next set of sale dates on Southwest to come out for airfare. Now we are also looking into investing into a digital camera (no we don't have one yet).

Sue Ellen- Thanks for looking into our REAS for us. We (I) was just geting the first time cruise jitters I think.

Pacha

Pacha: Southwest dates are out until December now. I got our flight for $99 each way just this past weekend.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still here and my family and I are still onboard! I have been doing my best to keep up with the posts, but haven't been so good about posting myself! It doesn't seem like there are enough hours in the day!!!! :faint:

I e-mailed Sue Ellen an RSVP for my DH and I for the Palo Tea. However, since I haven't told him about it yet, don't be surprised if I make a solo appearance! :p

soccermom-cheri: Your shirts look really great!

Has anyone considered having a special shirt done for our cruise? We are probably getting short on time, but I bet if anyone else is interested, we could get something in the works pretty quick. I have a friend that does graphics that would probably help us out with a design. Everyone, let me know what you think and have a great weekend!
