:wave2: Hi All...

This will be our 6th Disney cruise, and yes we are Disney Fanatics!!! :earseek:
So looking forward to being back on the Magic again!!!
Hope to meet you all at some point.

RonnieJo :flower1:

RonnieJo!!

Cheri (soccermom, of course) and I have been wondering when you guys will enter the posting fray!!! :cool1: :cool1: The cruise last October was a total blast, and we were totally psyched when we found out we're cruisin' with you guys again. Give my regards to Beano. We are all anxiously awaiting his grand entrance to this thread!

Disney fanatics?? You guys?? Naaaawwwwww!!

Chris

Hey Chris!

I have been hesitant to post thus far, since we weren't sure about our normal 'traveling group', and therefore not sure if we would even be going. But we feel pretty sure now that we will... can't give up that suite so easily!! :D

I have to admit that it will be different than what we are used to, but we are very excited nonetheless. Tim plans to join us, but nobody else from our group of regulars will be sailing.
But that's ok - the DIS party is still in my room!!!!

'Beano'

Beano, Beano, Beano!!

Great to hear from you, buddy!! Even though we won't have the same gang this time, I have no doubt, using the immortal words of that famous philosopher "Pink", we'll "get the party started" anyway!!

The DIS party will be in your room only on the days when it's not in ours!!

Chris

Hey Chris, sounds like a plan!

But mine's bigger than yours...

And so is my suite!!! :earboy2:

I can tell it's doing to be a long 279 days 'til the cruise. The abuse has begun already--it's only your second post, Beano!! :charac2: :charac2:
Chris

Hey, now, you boys play nice or we will have to separate you! :tilt:

Ronnie Jo! Glad to "see" you! How's everything with band and all? Keeping Beano out of trouble?

Tomorrow is Monday --- yuck! - but at least it gets us one day closer to cruisin'. :jumping4: :Pinkbounc :jumping3:

How are all of you out east fairing? Hate to tell you how beautiful it was today. Sunny blue skies. (anyone know of a "smilie" for "face laying out getting tan"? -lol)

Remember: last one with their docs.... :drinking1

:wave2: Hi Cheri & Chris!

Good day to all...

Hey RonnieJo,

Chris

 Hi Chris...

Well, the best I can do is a small patch of blue sky :sunny: sun hasn't been around the Central Valley for a while...we have been having gray days I'm afraid. But I guess nothing can compare to what you're in.........BBBBRRRRRRR!!!! Not me man!!!! Me no likey cold!!!!

Have a safe trip home....

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower1:

Our family of seven will be on the ship Four adults and a 5, 7 and 10yr old! We can not wait!!!

We have gone to DW every year for the past 5 years but this is our first Disney cruise.

Welcome aboard, rvc!!

You'll love the Disney Cruise experience. The parks are great, but this is a whole new world... (if Aladdin and Jaz will forgive me).

The food, the shows, the ports, the kid's clubs, the nightlife... it's all there, and we wouldn't be going for the 6th time if it wasn't awesome. :)

And uh, Chris, sorry about being on your case already but, um, wait - no I'm not! And another thing - you snore!!

Ok, I need an aspirin. :headache:

Beano,
I thought we agreed that we would never speak of that again. Well, at least you didn't get into how you found that out!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Cheers from the Big Apple,
Chris

Hey RonnieJo: :wave2:

Since we are in the same area, just wondering which airport you fly from and which airlines. We generally fly Southwest (DH has travel rewards :-) but from Sacramento the earliest I can get to Orlando is 5:30 pm assuming their schedule stays the same.

So much for my day at the beach before we cruise!! :sad2:

Just wondering - do you fly a day early? :confused3 And where do you generally stay at the airport or at the coast?

Ok...countdown timer is looking GOOD!!!

I have my DU reserved..payment to be made in full on Friday!!

tinkryansmom - I am answering for RonnieJo, who just happens to be my wife!

We do one of two things, depending on available airfare :

We fly American out of Fresno to Dallas, then on to Orlando. That's a couple of 2 and a half hour flights on an MD80, and Fresno Airport is only 25 minutes from home. But more often, we've flown out of LAX, directly to Orlando, also on American. I like the direct flight much better of course, and it's also on a 757, but the 4 hour drive to the airport I can do without! And then we also have to pay for gas, a hotel, and parking.

So it really depends on the fares and the flight schedules, but either way we prefer American Airlines. And we always fly out at least 2 or 3 days early, and spend time at DisneyWorld, or if we don't have time for that, we stay at the Radisson in Cocoa Beach, which is just 2 minutes away from the port!

Beano! You didn't think that you got to have all this fun without Tarzanman did you? I thought not. Hello all!!! This will be Disney Cruise #8! Nice huh? I definitely cannot wait for this one. For all of you newbies, it is the people on the cruise that make it magical. This is a great group of people and as Beano and RonnieJo know, there is no one that you would rather be on a cruise with than Tarzanman! I need to start losing weight so that I can gain it back!

Tim the Tarzanman!!!

How you doin'?? Cheri and I are looking forward to cruising with you again. The cruise last October was mui excellent. October 29th seems so far away, though. The good news is that we're on the July 9th West Coast cruise, so we get to "warm up" for the Halloween cruise!!!

Let the fun begin now.

Chris

This will be my first Disney Cruise...I am kinda going through withdrawls..I usually take my big WDW trip the first of February but decided to skip it and take Dave and Fran's advice and try DCL!
