Went to Rubios for Linner and a little Cold Stone for dessert. It was 118 in the car (which was parked in the shade) when we left to come home.

Oh and we'll be in Orange County (Westminster) Sept. 8 - 10.

Cheri can we crash the wedding ?????? Just kiddin we'll be with Shamu whenever Cassie's not skating.

just got back from the pool...it is a scorcher!!! Only could take 90 minuts before the suncreen melted off and gave up!

Another scorcher here in lovely downtown Kingsburg, too!

S'posed to be around 107 today. Calling for 112 on Tuesday!

I laid around in my pool yesterday, and I must say it was rather nice! Might have to do it again today, I reckon.

I am starting to get Disney-on-the-brain. I am so ready for this vacation.
If only Betsy would stay home, it'd be perfect.

I saw a great t-shirt in the store the other day - it had 3 cute little chicks (the baby chicken kind) and it said "Chillin' with my peeps"!
If it wasn't black I'd have bought it to wear in WDW, but Beano no wear black when it's 165 degrees out!

Thats it I am cancelling my trip. And people actually like WDW better than DLR? Hello....Good Lord I thought most of the US was, you know, like civilized. Alas, I have apparently overestimated Floridas abilities. SNAKES!?

You've got to be kidding me. It will be just my luck to find the rogue cottonmouth in my hotel room when I check in. Then I would be checking out. Beano style. One guy actually used his pillow case to "escort" the snake out of his room. UH...HELLOWW.... HELL....NO! I am not going.

Oh and Beano...

Golfed, yes, golfed yesterday afternoon in the heat. Followed a private tournament around the course - ok - we started on 10 - but the beer cart guys were giving out beer my friend. FREE!

As we drank our ice cold coors light we toasted you friend beano, while cruising up the 15th fairway.
