ok, friends. off to find my flannel sheets and a magazine for some quality reading. ok, it's People ... weird how I know fewer and fewer people in it every year. who is Brittany Murphy? Do I care if Britney had a fight with icky Kevin? guess that's why it puts me to sleep. I like fiction.

I guess you all went off to bed.. you have been quiet for a little while. And here I thought you all stayed up all night long every night.

So I'm having another night where I can't fall asleep (sigh) It's 3am and I'm sitting here on my computer working and playing. I have to fall asleep (someone please help me sleep)

Hey, speaking of the wizard. I just read the book "Wicked" - the story of the wicked witch - boy...talk about weird story. Great premise really but man the undertones in that book...kinda scared me.

Anybody read it?

Didn't read it, but I saw the musical last year, and it was AWESOME!!!...wasn't sure I would like it, but very nicely done.

Man, missed all the fun last night...one night I go to bed at a decent hour, and everyone comes out to play!!! Bummer...

gray wallpaper paster. Yum. have to make sure I search that one out. Does it have the consistancy of ice cream? Kids love ice cream. You see where I'm going with this ..... pictures, maybe a $10,000 funniest home video, my turn to spit diet coke (sorry Betsy) as I laugh hysterically ...

No ice cream, more the consistency of spackle....extremely gross stuff there.

HEY!!!...ima talkin to myself...that hardly ever happens..

I hope Saralinda did well in her evaluation yesterday...no way of knowing, they don't let you watch of course. She said she had to read a book, do some adding and subtracting, write a few words...stuff like dat der....really outta my control though. Have no idea what they are looking for. Will be long wait though, wondering. Guess I'll just add that to the list of stuff I have to wonder about right now.

Tim is still going to the meeting in Vegas, but that possibility is looking less viable...some red flags on the money sources and such...be afraid...am firm believer in if it's too good to be true....not totally dead, but there are questions. Also his headhunter is supposed to have a coupla leads next week. It's all just so nervy....I'm so nervous, I'm just so nervous. Prolly why I am sleeping like crap right now. Maybe I should quit joking about taking valium, and actually take some...hmmm.......Tenor on drugs......scary.

Bad news on the father-in-law front. He has had prostrate probs in the past and his "numbers" are way up again. Will have to go in for tests in April. Keeping fingers crossed.

What else can I bore you people with...church good today. Told a story about how he broke down on the side of the road one day in Sulphur Springs. Prayed for help, and then it came in the form of an unkempt, older man, with a younger grandson with him. He said his alcohol smell got to him before he did. Said what's the problem, he told him, and he said "got an extra cold one in the car"...preacher thinking "huh?" and told him he did not.....then told the younger boy to go "get him a beer"..(prolly not the first time he heard that)....he said jokingly that he was thinking "that's rude, he didn't even ask me if I wanted one"....brought him a beer, he popped the top, and poured the whole can in. Said, "this will get you to Dallas"..(and it did)....just goes to show you help can come in mysterious ways....I now wonder how many of the congregation will now start travelling with a Coors Lite....

Sorry we missed you SueEllen. Hope all is well. Are they working on the med cruises yet? Read on the DIS that peeps were getting their calls for next fall. Just wondering what that quote is gonna look like.... Still working on logistics for WDW last week in November...Can you give me an idea of how far the Convention Center is from WDW?

Tenny - Keeping fingers crossed for Tim and FIL. When is he going to Vegas? And as far as Disneyland goes...um...we will take you whenever you are able to get west.

Beano - we still love you. Sorry you have to babysit today. But heck, with this weather, and no football seems like a good alternative to laundry and tax reports....

And speaking of...off I go...which to do first....no brainer...laundry!

personally, I was surprised that Walk the Line was not nominated for best film...of course I did not see Capote, maybe it was better....This is what I find humerous. How everyone in the film is nominated for actor, actress, supporting actor, etc...and then not nominated for film...what are you saying everyone was so fabulous as to be nominated but the film sucked????...or when the film is nominated, and then not the main player...usually because he/she has pis*ed off the academy and so they snubbed him/her...

I swear to all that is holy...the weather here, she is NUTS!!!...I mean the stupid saying "if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes" really is true here lately...it was rainy, cold, yucky, we had a fire going here last Sunday...today? It's 72!!!!! Pretty today, yucky a coupla days ago raining, and then the day before that???? 76 and beautiful...just plain nuts I say.
