Well, I just got off the phone with Tim...

He is surviving the storm, but he has no power, and his van is missing some windows. :sad2:

So, between now and Thursday, he has to get his van to the dealership to have new windows installed. Never a dull moment.

The latest models show Wilma being long gone from Florida by sometime tomorrow, so by the time we get there, WDW should be operational again.
I hope!!

Wow, haven't been able to be on for a couple of days and 100+ new pages. Won't have time to catch up, so was wondering if anyone had called DCL to see what movies will be playing yet? Was going to call on Wed or Thur, but thought I would ask here first as you all are so wise :worship:

Thanks

Yikes.....that is terrible.....hopefully it will be over for him soon and he can get on with assessing all the damage. Glad to hear physically he is OK.

Anyone hear from Betsy or Anne....hopefully they are OK also.

Sorry no idea what is playing...I am so worried about just getting to Florida, I was afraid to be to excited.....I will be happy when I am on the plane on my way to Florida Wed morning.

Also (sorry if this has already been asked), do we need to fill out the Bahamas immigration arrival forms?

From what I understand they do. Apparently Castaway Cay is in the Bahamas....that is what my TA explained....one of the vets would know for sure.

Yes, the immigration forms need to be filled out. They will be collected on board (Wed. morning I think) in the Walt Disney theater.

Call me stupid...no please don't having very bad day...but what are the exact forms we need to have ready to hand in at the check in desk at the port.

Also, is there a need for a pocketbook at all?

<---feeling very green at the moment..in more ways than one. :(

Stay safe Tim!

Barb - your cruise documents need to be filled out and signed before you check in; payment authorization form, emergency contact, etc. Immigration forms don't need to be filled out until after you board. If I remember correctly, we have to turn them in Wed. morning.

As far as a pocketbook/cash... you won't use cash on board other than possibly to pay on your account, if you don't want all your charges to go to your credit card. Of course you can use cash in St. Maarten and St. Thomas as well.

i am here...no electric but laptop and dial up ok...Lost ALOT of roof tiles....really bad, but ok and so far no water leaks
CAN WE GO YET???

Hang in there, Bets! :flower:

Glad both you & Tim are OK...was just looking at pictures of Wilma...she really moved through FL fast...thank goodness! Looks like there will be nothing to worry about with the weather for our cruise :cool1:

Hey Betsy glad you and the family are safe.

Hey my shooter buddy.....I thought I was here all by myself....

Trying to keep myself off the hurricane sites... ;)

Hi Ronnie :wave2:

I did most of that this weekend....will do the final prep tonight. DH is working late so just me and the kids. Getting the car packed as well tonight. DH is picking me up from work and heading to the airport hotel tomorrow night.....

Do you have alot of suitcases also???? I can not believe how many suitcases I seem to need for this cruise. Now one of the carryons is all camera equipment but .....wow.......

Wow Ronnie, we can actually say heading out tomorrow....yaaaaaa.
