Thank you for the further reassurance, Anne! :sunny:

You seem like a very nice, level-headed person. So what went wrong with your girls???

;)

She couldn't help us...we were very naughty and no spankings would fix us!

Hmmm..just thought of something. Maybe this would be an appropriate time to start drinking. :rotfl2:

after my day I think this is the PERFECT TIME to start drinking!

Please pardon my husband's BIG mouth. By the end of the cruise you shall know everything about us, from the cars we drive to the combination to our safe (and when you get that out of Chris will you write it down, cuz I keep forgettin')

Tenor and I may be tied in the stress meter for today. Oh, TENNNNNNNOORRRR,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, let's not compare notes.

Off to bed EARLY AGAIN>>> I just checked on Kyle and looks like the tylenol we gave him for the arm is working better..IT may be a LONG night with him, so im off to bed..

Nightey Night Rachel.....sweet dreams :cloud9:

Cheri, me thinks you need a grande supreme drinkie! :drinking1

On behalf of tarzanman and myself, I would like to welcome Chris to the 'cardiac club" :cool1:

We all have Supraventricular Tachycardia. What are you women doin' to us, anyway??

Tim had his ablated surgically. Mine is non-operable. Chris', I suppose it remains to be seen what the long run treatment will be.

SO - don't nobody scare us on this cruise, or we might :faint:

We are also not supposed to have any caffeine.

Alcohol, on the other hand, is just fine! :drinking1

By the way, I just noticed a DIS name of "TinkandSquirt"...

Aren't those both euphamisms for peeing??

Just an observation. ;)

Bets - I don't care who you are, that "phone call" is funny right there! :rotfl2:

Was it real? Cuz' if it was, that was a heck of an unintentional confession on her part!! :rotfl:

Thanks for the warm welcome, Beano ole pal, though it's probably a dubious distinction.

And for those that are wondering, mine is, at this point, a very mild case. Heart is pumping great, chest x-rays are clear, etc. Hopefully that will continue.

And it's true, y'all won't see me drinking much coffee on the ship, but booze is another matter: thins the blood and lowers the blood pressure. Perfect for this particular malady!!!

Beans - i have another...but Ronnie might be kicking your tush if you laugh to much

This is why I can't have any caffeine! Or smoke...or drink (for some resason that aggravates my heart) ..or do much of anything other than breath and that can set it off at any pont as well. :( Unfortunately they tried to treat mine with beta blockers. What a waste of time that was. Now you know my deep dark secret about why I am so paniced about being on a cruise in the middle of nowhere with no way to get off. <sigh>

I forgot to add that DH needs to now go in for a stress test to find out what is causing his irregular heartbeat. I'm not concerned though. He had a brain tumor 12 years ago that took 12 hours of surgery to remove. During that time they noticed the arryhmthia and did every test known to man and found nothing. I think this new doctor of his is just trying to be overly cautious considering he is turning 50 in a few weeks. It s**ks to get old!

For you guys drinking is a good thing. My DH included. Wish it was for me. :)

I was also very sure I would be seasick on my first cruise and took meds. with me just in case. This will be my 11th cruise and I have never taken anything for seasickness nor have I ever been sick. These ships are so big and because of the stablizers, there is very little motion. You will love it, you first timers!!! :cool1:
We are under a hurricane watch right now but they have only issued evacuation orders for the Keys and the low lying areas of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. I feel very safe here in my condo with the shutters over my patio. Just want this thing to get out of here so I can concentrate on THE MAGIC!

THanks for the information Anne. I really do think I'll be fine..maybe. :)

And please stay safe during the Hurricane!

Rachel PLEASE make sure you follow up with the hospital if they don't call you back. When my DS broke his wrist last year, they told us at the ER that it was not broken. They called three days later to tell us that the Radiologist read the report and he believed it was indeed broken and to see an orthopedic doctor. I had no intention of calling them to find out what the report actually said. I was just willing to take the ER guys word for it. Learned my lesson. I'm sure Kyle is fine, but just make sure.

Must've liked 'dem spankin's, huh? :rotfl2:

Barb - I took beta blockers for 3 years. Worked great for the symptoms; trouble is, the side effects were worse than the problem! So I don't take nuttin' fer it no more. 'Cept beer. ;)
