You're kidding, right??????

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

(sorry, gotta stop to wipe the tears from my eyes) :p

All in good fun - Tink, darlin'. I have spent a lot of time being the youngest in the crowd.

JR was..
:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: (sorry....)
it was like , you know, for sure, like, only the most important mystery in the early 80's. (yeah, we didn'nt have 'puters to chat on so we spent time watching nighttime dramas - and, NO, they were NOT called soaps)

JR Ewing was, like this really really rich guy who had a mistress and a beautiful wife and milions of dollars, and lived on the family ranch (eew) and ends up shot by ........

....and, like, the whole country talked about who could have shot the guy , like fur shure.

(and you don't even et the lingo :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:)

LOL,LOL, LOL!!! You are a baby ;)

JR Ewing from Dallas (a nighttime soap) His wife (ex-wife over and again) her name was Sue Ellen.
If you get Soap Net it still comes on every weekday. Dallas spun off several other nightime soaps like Knots Landing and others.

Sue Ellen

Sorry Sarah, not laughing at ya.....I just find it funny that something that seems to commonplace to me is unheard of.

ok, ok

JR Ewing is his name. He was the star of a show called "Dallas". One of the big sweeps finales was him getting shot in his office...the drama was to figure out by whom he was shot. Heap big popular show "back in the day" as my son would say :rotfl2:

WOW...Don't all respond at once, Y'all :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: So I'm a little behind in times, but.................

Yippee!!!! It's my 100th post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:

I'm right there with ya :smooth:

If your KISS FM is the same as ours (Ludacris, Eminem, Lil' Jon, etc...) then we'll get along just fine :cool1: Although I have to admit...I'm a country music fan as well (need a little line-dancing guy here).

Good nite....gotta take a break for awhile...I have to tape myself!!!! I know that that sounds egotistical doesn't it???? Actually I am trying out for a singing part in our church's Christmas show this year, and so I am taking some of my RichTone stuff, and making an audition tape, that I have to give to them tomm. So need to review song, and then tape it...will be back in about 30 minutes if anyone will still be here...

I remember having to listen to stuff on my tape recorder because my dad wouldn't let me get a radio in my car because he said the music would "distract" me from driving!!!!
Speaking of distraction... when I took "behind the wheel" training (which was provided by the high school - didn't have to pay for it). We weren't supposed to turn on the radios in our Datsun's. Of course, I always did (baad Cheri) and heard: Turning Japanese every single time. Still can't hear that song without thinking of driving in circles around that high school parking lot.....
