You people in Milwaukee no nothing of lushes :confused3 ... you need to go to LaCrosse for that. I think lush is another word for LaCrosse. Ever been to 3rd Street. There used to be 110 bars in a 10 block radius :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 . Not sure what the number is now but there are more bars than restaurants on our last visit in May. (Notice my avatar. The LaCrosse isn't for the sport!!) :rotfl2:

Never been to LaCrosse...was never much of a "bar" girl either...I prefer the house parties...and UW-Milwaukee had some great ones

Sarah - I am not a huge Miller fan either, but I acquired a taste for it on the Disney Cruses! It's the only lite beer they have on tap (except in Diversions).
And you can't order a Coors at the bars, period! The only way I can git my Silver Bullets is in the dining rooms (and I rarely drink beer at dinner) or from room service. So, I will order a truckload of it from room service, and drink Miller Lite whenever I want a beer on deck! (I have actually walked back to my suite to grab a Coors! LOL But I got tired of guys asking me "Hey man, where'd you get that?") :sunny:

LOL! I just called DH in and he's looking at it drooling. He loves Cakebread.
Cakebread is my favorite unless Rombauer is around. But, who has $35 bottles of chardonnay just laying around? (If you know of anyone, can I have their statroom #? :rotfl2: )

Actually, we bought most of it for a party we hosted, but nobody drank it :guilty: ( :rotfl2: ), so we were forced to have a glass before and after dinner. We always ordered a bottle at dinner from the "other wine list" - yup that's what it's called. They don't give it to you unless you ask for it. I don't think we brought any wine home .... maybe 2 bottles? Ummmmmm, it was vacation :rolleyes1

What a good day for Houston.... Aggies :Pinkbounc :cool1: win big over the Oklahoma Aggies. Astro's win :cheer2: and now are up 2-1. The only downer is the t-sips beat Colorado :badpc: . Now if I could only find a smiley that shows cutting the horns off of bevo.

What is the other wine list? We were planning on doing the premium wine package. Is there another list? Or should we stock up at F&W and pay the corkage fee? How much are you allowed to bring on boards?

I would be interested in this "other" wine list as well...we are also considering the premium package.

Sorry to take us off topic here and veer away from the alcohol...

But DS just got home from band review...

Can you say "Sweepstakes"?? :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cool1: :bounce:

Go Kingsburg, Go Kingsburg!

The kids are psyched, and suddenly all the late night practices are worth it.
Ah, memories. Gotta love those high school days... even though mine are only a few years back... just like Cheri. :)

I was in concert band and marching band in HS. Those were some fun days, and your right Beano...night practices really do pay off...congrats to your DS :cool1:

Soccer dad would be better able to tell you - I always hear him ask for "the other wine list". Far Niente, Ferrari-Carano, Cakebread and the like are not on the Premium list as far as I know. Trefethen, if they have it aboard, wouldn't be there either. You pay for the Premium Package plus a little (or alot) more per bottle each night that you order from "the other list". Chris just signed for it like everything else. It wasn't any trouble since we were generally trying to muster up the energy to get up from the table when the "check" came.

Now I am really feeling old. You are from the class of '82?

Duran Duran, Flock of Seagulls ... you remember, when the guys wore as much (or more) make up as the girls? Kent, does this mean you are one of us? Pull your walker up over here 'n set a while.

Kurt - Yes sir, I am. Nineteen-hundred and eighty-two. YIKES. :guilty:

Knots Landing, Dallas, E.T., Ronald Reagan, The "Thriller" album.

Great googly-moogly. I better make sure my will is in order.
