Yeah Cassie tried out for the 3rd grade choir too. She was all impressed when she found out that I sang in school. If only we were'nt to OLD for American Idol huh.

oh for the love of whistler's mother...she is all about the american idol, she wants to go up on the stage and do that......why can't i go up on the stage and do that......"cuz you aren't old enough"....when i grow up i wanna go up on the stage and do that....

Well I've waited on Gewn Stefani, Chris from NSYNC, George Brett, Some chick from a CBS soap that I don't know. Some Nascar driver that I think was Rusty Wallace , UMMM oh The youngest kid from new kids on the block Joey I think. That's all I can think of right now.

hear ya!!!! Let's see, I think the most famous person I was ever around was Tony Bennet (Benette, Bennett???) Many moons ago when I worked at a bank, we gave our Club 55 members tickets to see his show, and I was part of that organizing, and so I met him, and gave my dad a ticket, so I introduced him and my dad, so my dad could get the autograph he wanted. My dad took me to wrestling match one time when I was young and one of the wrestlers Ivan Putsky (dead now I think) patted me on the head....

How's that for a brush with greatness???

oh, and a couple of years ago, when Oklahoma was at the musicals, they needed extras. I got to be an extra and sang on stage with all of them...got paid and everthin!!!! Some major fundage there that summer. So now when there are kiddie shows like Peter Pan and such at the musicals and I take Saralinda, I tell her how her mommy has been on that stage singing too.

Let's see what else....when I was on the Magic cruise in 2003, that lady that did swapping spaces or houses or whatever...no, no, no, it was trading spaces or sumtin....Paige something or other, can't remember and fading fast....and her husband, who did the voice of Scar...were on the cruise. I ate lunch next to them when we were on Castaway Cay, and they gave me their autographs. He was very entertaining and did a seminar one day to everyone and talked about playing Scar, and showed some home made films of him on stage.

WAAAYYYY too long a story...but I got to meet Rosie O'Donnell once, go to her show in NY, meet her after the show, and get a pic taken with her.

But of course, all your famous people...beat all my famous people...I'll probably never meet anyone famous again, and you will meet people all the time

Greetings from Italy.... man you people have been busy. My 3 week trip intruptus by Rita has gotten me so far behind. I am finally up to page 238. Last night was my first night in 3 weeks sleeping in the same bed/city for more than two nights. Let see.. Airplane.. Rome... Trento... Austin.. Katy.. Airplane..Cecina Mare... Perugia...Volterra.... Tomorrow night will be Rome and then Finally HOME!!!! Anyway I had to post before I got to page 245 because we have not received our docs yet either but I got a email from our TA and she just informed me we have been upgraded to a Deluxe Oceanview stateroom 6014..... not sure if I am happy about it or not .... trying to look on the ships layout. Any opinions?

i guess it would depend on WHAT room you had BEFORE the upgrade..BUT IT is called an UPGRADE So it seems to me that the room would indeed be better..IF you dont wnat that upgrade im sure there are a few on here who will take it have a great day*

Oh well..just called Dreams again ( Donna will start to hate me ) and our doc's haven't printed yet...Oh well..the price you pay to save lots of money over DCL I guess!

No noise outside the norm, was very far forward when most things are mid or aft it seems. Nice views, but I think the view on the other side is better.

That is the review for 6014..so quiet room!

Ya they hate me also. No upgrade just to a Cat 11 which I knew we had to get cause there was 4 of us.

Not too concerned actually since I really don't plan on spending much time in my room...but it would have been nice to be able to open the curtains and see daylight. I have been told we can still get upgraded so all is not lost yet.

I am happy to be on deck 6 though..

Ya know, it really doesn't matter who gets their docs first, or last, or whenever... I mean, we're all together in this. We're a cohesive group.

So just because we got ours already, and we're PSYCHED, and all you peeps who don't have them are so terribly distraught and left waiting, and probably feeling inferior, and mostly worthless compared to us who have them in our possesion; hey, no biggie.

Just because we can now go.
