I was hoping they where still able to join us. His boss told him just a little while ago that if he went on vacation he wouldn't have a job to come back to.....I think that is who you are talking about right???

We don't arrive in Bakersfield, we drive past it!

B-Field is about halfway between home and L.A., so passing it means we're closer to our destination than we are to home. We usually stop and eat at Grapevine, then it's just another 2 hours or so to LAX. And that is exactly what we'll be doing on Tuesday. Then we stay at the Sheraton LAX Tues. night, park our car there for 12 days, and jet our way to Flor-ee-duh!

Beano is looking forward to vacation. Just so ya know.

Let's see.... Grapevine, population 15. One gas station.. Have they expanded and built a McD's yet or is it still warmed up hot dogs from the mini-mart? Yum-yum - bet you drive really fast to LA!

Well, since Cassie's fever broke early this morning and I'm pretty sure Chris is gonna live (at least that's what he tells me breathe, Cheri, breathe... holy cr#p) ... I guess I better start doing laundry so I can start the packing stress.
