**October 28 2009, 180 Day Reservation Thread**

Ok so we scrambled through the madness and got through to a CM who had access to the systems. We made 5 ADR's for our upcoming trip.
What was interesting is that there was no availability at San Angel Inn or at Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining. The CM then told my boyfriend (who was on the phone making the ADR's) that those restaurants don't have availability to book yet.
Has anyone heard anything about this? Is there normally a window where bookings can be made for these restaurants? The funny thing is when we were trying to get San Angel, the CM says "No, but we have Le Cellier". I was amazed considering that we had no luck whatsoever with trying to get booked there on the previous trip. So I am glad for that, however I was really looking forward to having some sushi on this trip! :wizard:

I have read several accounts today that the CM has to uncheck the DDP from your request to get those restaurants. They have not finalized their DDP contracts for 2010, so they are non-participatory as of right now. If DDP is checked on the request, these restaurants are excluded from the search.

I booked all my reservations without linking DP b/c most of the restaurants I wanted in Epcot weren't yet on the list. Dunno if it's possible to unlink your DP at this point, but I would try. I made ressies at Chefs de France and Marrakesh, both with backups in case they never jump back on the DP.

I too just finished using the online system. It was kinda slow for the first couple, but was quite fast after that.

It's back up but cutting off TWO days before my 180 days starts!! I really really want to book CRT which I couldn't earlier!

I was able to get through on the 3rd try and was on hold for about 10 minutes (called 4pm PST)... we didn't have many ADRs, but were able to book the ones we wanted at the times we wanted. And the person taking the reservations was so very sweet - LOL. I figured after today she might not be, but maybe she just came on her shift...

I just went online and finished booking. We got our CRT for 830 on February 2. There were a ton of open times.

Thank you for the tip!!! I just booked San Angel and Tokyo Dining for the exact dates and time I was looking for! :goodvibes I am glad we didn't wait to see if we could book later....the spots may have all been taken!
I knew they were still hammering out the DDP restaurants for 2010...it just never occurred to me that the restaurants not pulling up was related to that fact. I am certain these restaurants will be available on there for 2010, but if not we will just cancel the ADR and rebook if needed. :wizard:

Well.. we are exactly 180 days out (my 180 days fell on a PERFECT day huh? LOL) but all the online stuff only goes 178 days out! So I still can't book CRT. hmph

I'm still hopeful though.. I could have gotten any time I wanted 2 days before we go so I think I'll get my time once it finally opens up.

Clear out all your cookies log out and back in. That may help.

Will we be able to see or retrieve our dinner reservations online eventually? With all the crazyness today, worry that something will be missing or not right.
I just went online and retrieved all of the reservations that I made on the phone today.

You only get an email confirmation if you make them online.
I made all of my reservations on the phone today, retrieved them online, and requested that an email confirmation be sent to me. All of my reservations seem to be in order.

You simply login to the WDW website and go to the "My Disney Vacations" tab and you should get drop-down menu; go down to "Dining Reservations." You can then enter your reservation number and phone number to retrieve reservations.

If you are having problems, clear your cookies, logout and back in. The system is buggy.
