October 27 Wonder Cruisers.. Let's hear some NOISE!

The idea for lime ribbons came from a post about Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. A lot of DISers are going on Halloween night (my family inlcuded) and are wearing lime green ribbons so we can notice each other. It's a good idea so I guess it jumped over to the the DCL treads.

Hope that helps...
Less that 2 weeks guys...
Start that packing list!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc HERE WE GO!!!! 2 WEEKS,14 DAYS,336 HOURS,20,160 MINUTES,1,209,600 SECONDS, wait forget that seconds part, that seems to long...::bounce: :Pinkbounc :earseek: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :earseek:

The lime green ribbons are just a way to recognize anyone from these boards. You wear it for WDW or the cruise as a way to meet and greet others from this board. Any kind of ribbon will do.
Some people even put them on their baby strollers at WDW.
So keep on the look out for any lime green ribbons at Disney and you just might meet someone from these boards.

Where do you get these lime green ribbons? Is it just like craft ribbon? I'll be wearing mine!

Philly, not sure which stateroom we are in yet. I won't find out until I get there. I can't wait!!!

you can pick them up in any fabric store or the fabric section of KMart or Wallmart or in a craft store.

I'm going to AC Moore's this week so I'll get mine there. I'm planning on wearing mine the first night. If I don't run into anyone that night, I guess I'll tie it to the lanyard I plan on buying for my key card.

I'm so excited, can we go now???

Bumping...

Who's excited? Less than TWO WEEKS LEFT!!!!!!!

I can hear Serenity Bay calling me now... and those fruity drinks at Signals... yummy.. :teeth:

NEXT SUNDAY - can you believe it? I can't. Poolside with a nice drink? I'm there.

Only 7 more work days and only 10 days until the cruise. I'm not counting today [Wednesday] because I'm about to leave work and that means the day is over for me.

What should we say to each other when we spot the lime green ribbon?

Should we introduce ourselves now so we sort of know who we are talking to????????????

Our family is from northern Illinois. We have four daughters and one big German Shepherd :D ok, and one cat, a bird and a fat hamster. Our oldest daughter can't make this trip but our 11, 14 & 15 year old daughters will be with us. We are flying down the day before and staying at the Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach. After the cruise we are staying at the Hotel Royal in Universal Studios and going to Halloween Horror Night and the parks. This is our second cruise but our first cruise with Disney.

My DH pulled a muscle in his back on Saturday and hasn't really been able to move much, took him to the doctor yesterday so he would be in tip top shape when we leave. My 15 year old just got off crutches and has gone through tons of x-rays and an MRI and has a brace on her knee.

We could be known as the GIMPY family.

 I hope I won't have to tie my ribbon to wheel chairs

we are "The Dean Family" ,my wife Jackie 42,blonde(kinda)5'4 130lb,my son Shaun 17(you'll be able to pick him out, about 6'2", 210lbs.hair is two different colors:) blonde on top half of his head, darker on the bottom)my son Colin 13( will most likely spend most of his time in computer labs, and bothering room service), and myself Michael 44,6'1",240(ish),salt and pepper hair, we live in North Jersey, married 20 years(I think), we have two cats, and this hairy little rat they tell me is a hampster. this is our second Wonder cruise, and we will be heading back to the Poly for a few days to go to parks for Halloween. We are booked into cabin 8014, but I'm still hopeing for that upgrade;)

It will be myself (24F) Shelley and my friend Denise (29F)... we are both cast members at Disney/MGM Studios...

It will be the 2nd Disney Cruise for both of us, but she hasn't been on one since '99. We aren't sure what state room we have, since we don't find out the exact room until our sail date... but we can't wait!!! We know we have late seating for dinner, and are betting we get TAP... since that is what most adults get... which is fine with me, since I love Tritons!!! I hope I get just as cute an assistant server as I had on my last wonder cruise (I had Shawn.. he was a DOLL)!!!

Can't Wait.. went to Michael's and got my lime green ribbon today!!

You won't really hear the Gimpy Family announced and if you do, that'll be just way too funny!

We actually are "The Etters Family" We have cabins 7505 & 7507 booked and have early seating. My husband is 43, 5'10 170, dark hair, although, it is starting to gray a little. He is a construction superintendent for a company near Chicago. I am 39, 5'2, 100 lbs blondish hair and a stay at home mom. Two of our girls are the same height as me and have a little bit darker hair. Our youngest, the 11 yr old is a little shorter, lighter hair and has freckles :D.

If there is a basketball hoop or soccer net on board my girls will find it. I think I have covered everyone.

Our lives revolve around travel soccer, tennis and basketball. I think as a family we need this vacation really bad. No games, no practices, no homework (well some) and no phone calls.

:Pinkbounc Boy.......I can't wait! :Pinkbounc

Your girls will be happy, there is a basket ball hoop on board.. its on Deck 10... its tons of fun!
