OMG, got through again and still no luck! :headache:

Ok, I need a pick me up. I have been trying to call since 6 am (CST). I finally got through around 9:45 am but had a 10-12 meeting so you got it...I had to hang up (anyone want to guess how hard that was?):guilty:

2nd time around I got through around 1:30 and was told I had a wait time of about 10 minutes (not bad). Now here is the real bummer, the call got disconnected when they answered it! :guilty:

3rd time, I got through around 1:45 but after a 14 minute wait I found out that the system was down. :guilty:

I am trying desperately to be positive :flower3: as this will be a first character meal for 10 of our 12 family members going (including 4 kiddos and the rest kids at heart of course) so please think keep the pixie dust coming!

3:00 P.M. EST

Just tried again to make some ressies, and was told the sytem is working intermittenly. Meaning, some people out there are lucky and are somehow squeaking through some ADR's - while others, such as myself, are stuck in the Disney IT black hole. No ressies for me.

The CM I spoke with said that earlier she had been able to get some ADRs for a guest, but that the system was working VERY slowly. But then she just got shut out again and it wasn't working at all.

Big sigh. And so the saga continues . . .

Also did the week of March 13-20 seem really busy for anyone who happened to call for those dates? Thanks everyone!:hippie:

I am going that week and I was not able to get CRT for breakfast or lunch during that week but I did get our desired date and exact time for Chef Mickey's and for the Happily Ever After buffet. We also called T-Rex Restaurant directly and got a reservation for that as well with no problem.

I don't think so. It seems like the CM's system works like the online system where you put them all in the cart and check out at the end. If you were still in the middle of making them then the CM did'nt check out yet. Now if you got disconnected and the CM decided to check out even though you weren't on the line, then you may have gotten them.

that sucks, thats 2x today i will have lost my ressies.

Just wanted to congratulate everyone who got though.
With few exceptions sounds like most everyone was pateint and understanding.:wizard: Despite the wait sounds like a lot of happy people today.

Hope everyone enjoy their trips.:yay:

For those who haven't gotten though, sorry, but keep trying
and remember, there's still plenty of time before you leave to book
and ultimately, ADR's aren't needed to have a great time.
Or even if you don't get your first choices, there' dozens of great fun
places to choose from. (and future Disney trips to try them):3dglasses

Got through about 2:00 with only about a 6 minute wait. Was not able to book CRT or Jiko; apparently not loaded yet for April. Got everything else no problem: Chef Mickey's, Mama Melrose, Saana, Rose & Crown, Boma, Kat Kora, Crystal Palace, and Coral Reef - - all between 4/14 and 4/21. Will try for CRT and Jiko tomorrow.

I got Jiko for April. I'm pretty sure it's signed up for the dining plan, so that's not it. SO weird.

I was able to book all my dining reservations, finally, early this afternoon. I also had a nice CM. I feel sorry for her. I can't imagine how difficult this day is on her. And yet, she was still very friendly, courteous and patient. She tried everything and she didn't give up. Thanks to her, I was able to get my reservations.:thumbsup2

I had 14 dinners and was able to get the following restaurants (two of which we will be dining twice):
Le Cellier
Brown Derby
Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package
Mama Melrose
The Wave
Ohana
TRex
Akershus
Teppan Edo
Yak and Yeti
Rainforest Cafe
Nine Dragons

Phew...It was a stressful morning....but at least I got what I wanted.:cool1:

I've called and called with a busy signal. We are DVC members and after 15 minutes on hold I had to hang up AND the on-line reservation system is not working....:confused3

The ADR window changed today from 90 to 180 days out. The phone lines and ADR system are totally overloaded at this time. It will probably be like this for awhile, all you can do is be patient and keep trying.:thumbsup2

Any luck online?

I think the online system is still down. I tried first this morning and again just now. I made the ADR's that I wanted most over the phone but may add some more later if and when the online system comes back up.

No, the on-line system has been down for most of the day. There were a couple posts around 10am (I think) that had been able to book on-line, but, most everyone else was unsuccessful :(

Finally! I'm done, happy and tired. Since I started this journey 12+ hours ago, I'm happy to report I got everything! Great restaurants and perfect times.

Traveling the end of April to May: Chef Mickey, O'Hana, Crystal Palace, Boma, Jiko, Akershus, Le Cellier, Land, Hoop Dee Doo, Crown & Rose, Tony's Town Square and Tusker House.

Nate (my CM) was awesome. He sounded so calm - I could only imagine his day.

I got through and my CM's system was down so she transferred me to another CM. After another short wait the new CM was able to book all my Ressies without incident.

Make sure if you get a CM who's system is down that they try transferring you to someone else instead of having you call back!

I just got off the phone and was able to get 13 out of the 16 that I wanted..the CM says nothing showed up for CRT, Ohana dinner, and Teppan Edo. I got through on second try, and waited for about 10 minutes.

The ones that I got were Tusker House, Kona Cafe breakfast and dinner, Akershus, Garden Grill, Hollywood & Vine, Mama Melrose, Crystal palace, 1900 Park Fare breakfast and dinner, Boma, Chef Mickey and The Plaza Restaurant.

There is hope...keep trying! I tried this morning and then just gave up, and called again after taking the kids out for lunch!

Yay! I called at 11:30 central time and the system was down. I called back at about 1:30 central time and got right through. The wait was maybe 10 minutes, tops. I got all of the ADRs I wanted (including lunch at Le Cellier!) for next March 18-24 other than the dinner on my birthday. I want California Grill on March 19 and the CM told me that there is nothing showing as open for the entire evening. I figure that is unlikely so I'll wait until the system isn't so crazy and try to book it online myself. Maybe because we're a group of 6? I can always break us down into a group of 2 and 4, etc. to get the ADR.

OMG, got through again and still no luck! :headache:

The CM said she had to reboot and would switch me to someone else but she juts put me back in the que.
Oh no. on hold for 32 minutes

Long time lurker, first time poster!

After numerous attempts at calling, and getting the dreaded "All circuits are busy", I finally got in - was on hold for about 6 minutes - and was then able to get the Victoria & Albert's Chef Table for March 2010.

The CM hung up before I could be transferred - so I started making numerous calls again - finally got a "live" CM - only to be told the computers were now down and to call back. This was around 1:00 PM EST.

I hung up - immediately started calling back - and after 10-15 minutes of busy signals, sitting on hold for 10 minutes, got another "live" CM and was able to make all the rest of my rezzies with the exception of CRT. She told me that CRT was not in their system yet for March 2010. (Which, from reading here - seems that that may not be exactly true?)

Anyway - very happy - the CM was patient and I was patient and it all worked out. My #1 goal was to get the chef's table at V&A for our wedding anniversary - and we got that - so all is good in the world.

Keep trying - keep being patient - and remember to smile when you're talking! :)

I think I was transferred back into a que. I am on hold for 34 minutes AT WORK that monitors our outgoing calls :confused3
