Thanks Kim for the pirate book! :thumbsup2 Ethan's poor bloodshot, droopy, sick eyes lit up when he openend it!

We'd gone shopping and come home to it on the doorstep! He looks like crap but he wants to go to school tomorrow so he can see Polar Express. I talked to his teacher and told her he's insisting on going and he's been fever free for over a day. She said send him on and she'll call me if he looks like he can't take it anymore.
That is one gung ho kid.

He sure didn't get it from me. I'd do anything to stay home from school! :rotfl2:

I hear ya, I would be saying hey only 4 more days of school why bother....lol.

My DD is home sick today as well and she is freaking to get back but she is in high school and have exams the end of January. Which means all projects have to be finished for Friday.

I'm so glad he liked it!!! I can't wait for Noah to open his on Christmas morning! I especially loved all the "extras" that came with it. pirate: It will make them better pirates!

Good to hear he's feeling better too! Polar Express Day couldn't be missed!

They moved my surgery up to 9:00 a.m. tomorrrow morning. I was fine until they told me the building to go to at the hospital... it's the cancer center! :guilty: Don't ya think they could call the building AFTER someone and not that horrible name?

Ok, off to get my house in order. Noah thinks I'm going "shopping" tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for the warm thoughts, pixie dust and prayers. I can't wait to meet everyone and give lots of hugs. :grouphug:

See ya when I can get back on here!

Oh, Chris, i meet Lesile on Deck 4, she is awesome! Rebooked for this cruise, saved $275.00 and now I have a $200.00 stateroom credit to boot!

I will be doing 2008 cruise on points and have to call DVC, tomorrow to make note of the rebooking discount on my file for the November 29th cruise, it will be a reunion cruise for this year's group.

You can't just post something like that and not tell us what you mean. :teeth: :rolleyes1
I'm sure those of you who know me can conjure up something in your mind. pirate:

Well looks like I might be changing my cruise. DD and I are trying to decide if we want to do the 7 nighter with 2 days at disney or a 4 nighter with 5 nights at disney and I think the 4 nighter is winning out. I will be deciding over the next few days.

Poor Leafs fans...NOT!! :rotfl:
Got enough of them around here if you can believe that.

In Texas???? :confused3

Ya can't help it, my parents beat it into me I think.

Actually all 4 of us have played hockey at one time or another but now only watch. Kids have too much else on the go to commit 5 an 6 nights a week to hockey and DH and I are just to old.... :rotfl2:

Actually, I'm from Upstate NY, originally. But somehow, I took a liking to the various Philly sports teams. While all the other kiddies on the bus had NY Giants hats, gloves, and jackets...I had on Eagles items. I don't play, but I've been going since I was young. Had a Hockey News subscription for about 20 years, now. Don't play, haven't tried to skate in years, but love to watch the game. Vast majority of the games I've attended were AHL. Fun to see them before they hit the big time: Ron Hextall, Pelle Lindberg, Ken Holland (Detroit GM), Tie Domi (Binghamton Rangers in the early 90's), Kovalev, Larry Pleau (St Louis GM). The team through the years:
Broome Dusters, Binghamton Whalers, Binghamton Rangers. Then I moved to Pa.
Now: Hershey Bears (Defending Calder Cup Champions).

Loved Ron Hextall, the guy was nut :thumbsup2

I have a friend from IL who is a big Chicago Wolves fan, follows them all over. Even when they come up to play Toronto Marlies and Hamilton. I have to admit I don't follow AHL much except when my friends come up to watch the Wolves play. It is some great hockey.

Can't wait to watch the Jr's play over the Xmas break, now that is some great hockey.
