Hi all,

I just got back from Night of Joy (thanks for your help a few months ago!), and now I'm planning our family trip. The youngest will be five years old (her first trip), so I want to make sure we get to do as much as possible. We'll be at the parks 3 out of the 4 days (26th-28th), and we arrive around 9 am or so. I have a few questions now with the little we have planned so far:

  • Can I spread our first three FastPass+ selections over two parks? It's a possibility we won't use them all at Magic Kingdom the first day, and we'll head to Epcot after lunch. Can I select rides from both parks?
  • Save for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, we don't necessarily need FP+ for attractions there, correct?
  • Which characters are commonly seen at Legacy Plaza West in Epcot?
  • I read something that said Soarin' and Test Track are on the same "tier": if we've maxed out selections at a previous park, and get FP+ for TT, after we ride that, can we get another FP+ for Soarin'? Or are those generally too hard to get same-day?
Thanks!

1: You cannot. Your initial 3 FP+ must be within the same park. I would rope drop MK, and book FP+ for Epcot.
2: Yes and no. It all depends on the attraction. Peter Pan, Winnie, Jungle Cruise, etc. all see decent wait times and it's time saving to have a FP+ booked. Wait times will be less at rope drop and during the first couple of hours compared to the afternoon.
3: We've seen Pluto, Daisy, and Stitch, but I'm not sure on the current rotation.
4: Yes, if there's availability.
