October 25, 2014 Fantasy Western "The Not So Scary Halloween Cruise 2014" Part 2

....what is the Disney Cruising World going to do without you?

:lmao:

It will be a more peaceful and kinder environment. :p

Still haven't transitioned back to normal life. :sad2:
Still on quite a high. Gotta love DCL. And what great ports.
I now know your technique. Before you come down from the past sailing high,... you're on another.
No drugs or alcohol needed. :lmao:

Did you see this? I need to sign up.

I'm using the boards to slowly come down from my high. ;)
I may have to use the cold turkey method soon though.

ETA: Also been studying Quantum Class. :scared1: We love big and new.
Did you see this big aft RL port suite? :scratchin http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Quantum-of-the-Seas

I wasn't going to book at all, until they announced the Southern. Once they did that and my kids' friends were booking, I had no choice. It was all peer pressure. ;)

That quantum class is amazing!! But RC? I know they have a huge following, so maybe they are awesome. You try it first and let me know.;) Plus, what's up with a 900+ sq ft room that only hold 4 people ?:confused3 It's ok for you, but Nico wants his own bed..always. So even if I am 4, the sleeping arrangements are that I need 4 separate beds..or leave Nico. :rotfl2:

What was your favorite port? I think if I ever go West a 3rd time, I will have to go zip lining. However, I really want to go East and I think Nico does as well. On St Thomas, they have a teen excursion and Nico loved the CC teen excursion. He's asking if the Southern has one, but I don't think they do.

I'm headed down Friday, so I guess I am not on a high as much as I am in planning mode again. Speaking of being on an ultimate high, how is your house guest?

Understood, but you will never find us on those little old DCL vessels., regardless of itinerary :rotfl2:

Will do.

Yeah. This is a huge problem across all fleets. I feel for you. Cruise travel is apparently designed for 4 pax. Your loss. :p
You have too book multiple adjoining cabins which are hard to find. Hey, ... Ironically they exist on Rccl. The Multiple Family whatever suite cabin. Sleeps eight, although ugly. I truly feel for you. You have to find connecting cabins to satisfy your needs, although I agree that sucks. another reason we stopped at 2. ;)

Most felt the Dream Class were going to add multi cabin rooms, like the Magic Class. Not. I agree with the disappointment. Connecting doors don't cut it for a family.

Yes, it is hard, if not impossible to find any cabin afloat that has 5 or more berths within a cabin, outside of DCL's classics.

What was your favorite port?
As much as I(we) love GC, I feel Jamaica was my favorite port this time. Of course it helped we had a fabulous driver in Jamaica, and I almost drowned in GC, :lmao:

The seas were a bit rough in the sound @ sting ray city. You gotta see this video. Waves were two feet, breaking over pax heads. That was the easy part. Later we went to the Coral Garden and then I drowned. :lmao: I'm going to call it an equipment failure. Of course my wife calls it something else. Lol. Winds were 20 knots, waves were 1.5 feet min. Try that with inadequate snorkel equipment and life vest, and get back to me. :rotfl2:

That may have played a role in my decision to rate Jamaica best. :rotfl2:

Jamaica rocked. Mystic Mountain was amazing. We only did the bobsled and ski lift of course. Our driver actually got my wife up the mountain in a vehicle, because she doesn't like heights. Apparently this was a huge ordeal this time due to a recent management change. Whatever, they did it. :worship:

Then we all went to Dunn River Falls, and all climbed said falls, albeit quickly.

how is your house guest?
As wonderful as could be expected.
Hey, I'm typing now, that says a lot. We reset the office into the lvrm, so ....I'm somewhat satisfied.

Hope all is well.

Hopefully we will resist the 6 feet of snow for a few more weeks.

:)
