Yes, we will actively participate in the FE (by the way, Hektor is written without a "c" - I've changed it in the Excel list, don't know why it didn't work). Just the other couple we're travelling with is not interested to participate, because they've never been on these boards. So it's just the two uf us - me and Martina.

We're not that early with buying the presents as many of you, but a least we bought some things yesterday. But I think we'll need some more . And we'll need the FE itself - unfortunately such a thing isn't available here, so we'll need to adapt something.

One question about the size of the presents (because it's not that easy to estimate the size of these FE-bags I've seen on the pictures): I got it right that the presents need to be small and flat (relatively)?

For the 3pm meet: We don't know if it is so much fun (for you AND for us), because for us it's not that easy to hold a conversation in english - unfortunately, our english ist not that good - and it's even more difficult for us to follow other people's conversation. But we are happy to participate in the FE exchange.

Still no word from CaptMarge. What is everyone's thoughts on whether or not we should remove her? My vote is to give her until Wednesday to respond. But I am open to the feedback of others.

Hektor, pardon me for not spelling your name correctly. I'm just trying to get a real number as to who is participating in the FE exchange and who has decided not to participate. As you can see the numbers have dropped some.
Mike usually update the list when he has time.

Now if you're not that crafty in making your Fish extender, you can check ebay and search for "fish extender" and you'll see a few ladies that make them as well as personalized them for you. I don't know what the time frame is to get one shipped to you but you can also have it shipped to the port and pick it up from there.

Also please come to the meet and greet even if just to say hello. It really would be nice to meet you and your wife.

I can confirm that "LetsCruise" will be participating in the FE.

She has replied that she is, has signed up on the spread sheet and we have done all our shopping together. She has her FE gifts made & packed in the suitcase already!

Laniesmom33 2 (our friends) signed us up for this. So I have changed the information to ours. I wanted to be sure we were confirmed to participate in the fish extender - very excited. Also, we do plan on being at the meet at 3. Let us know if you need any other information from us. Thanks for organizing!!!

This is our first cruise and we are traveling with our DD (9 years old) and our DS (11 years old). We are traveling with some friends who also have a DD (also 9 years old). But we were wondering if any other families are traveling is a DS around 11 years old. We noticed Tampabrat has an 11 year old DS. Perhaps the boys can meet.

Hi MOMx2, yes I do & welcome to the group!! Well actually he just turned 12, but close enough! I'm hoping to get him to the kids club, he's not really that into because he thinks it will be to "baby-ish" for him. But if he already knew some other boys there, he may be tempted to go! LOL! We will be at the meet & greet, we could introduce them there! His cousin will almost be 11 too, so they should all be about the same age!

Jennifer yes it is still very hot, make sure you bring some sunscreen. I'm still running my air conditioner for upstairs and downstairs. Last year this time it was much cooler. Right now it's 95 drgrees but a cool front suppose to pass through friday.

I'm hoping it cools down before the cruise (in FL & the Bahamas). We are not used to cruising in temps like we have had here recently in Florida, it's just been ridiculously hot & humid the last few weeks.

We've just been plugging along getting ready for the cruise. We made our FE bags the other day and decorated our FE a little. I've notified my kids school to arrange pre-excused absence's and already called the bank to note my account that there may be some out of the country charges soon, lol!

I am trying to finish up our groups magnet graphics tonight so that we can start printing them out. I'll probably start packing later this weekend! We're so EXCITED!!!

I was in Boston Tuesday night (without a coat) cold and windy! And you guys didn't even really have a summer this year either!

We are having gorgeous fall weather here in Utah, fluctuating between mid 50's & mid 70's. Loving it!

Is it normal to feel so stressed out that it's hard to get excited about the cruise? Course it doesn't help that DD 17 got swine flu last week and totally freaked me out ...now the rest of us have been vaccinated & are crossing our fingers that we will all be healthy for this cruise!!
