Yep - Missed chat. Not a soul there. Oh well. Did anyone chat tonight? Anything new come up??

Oh Dana, I was just reading back on posts and saw your about living near Northern Illinois University.

I am so sorry. I was stunned too.

I went to SIU in Carbondale for a couple years right out of high school and found the people from Illinois I met to be just the nicest, warmest people.

We had a very nice day at Epcot yesterday. We ate at ROse and Crown for lunch, Tangerine Cafe for dinner. It was very crowded, but the weather was great.

I woke up with a stye and a fever blister this morning for my reckless ways yesterday.

Was it the sun overexposure or the Strongbow cider at lunch, the Moroccan beer at dinner, or the Grey Goose Citron lemon squishee I slurped down on my way out of the park.

Needless to say, I slept REALLY hard last night! LOL

For those of you who were on the last Halloween cruise, what were some of your favorite goodies handed out during the fish extender thing or trick or treating?

I'm idea mining.

Thanks!

Unfortunately we need to remove dbil and dsil Thomas and April disneymooners from the roll call. They decided to honeymoon in Tennessee instead. Oh well. Their loss.

I can't believe I'm missing these chats. I am on this site almost daily and most time 2 or more. We are on the 2nd floor also. Don't remember our room # right now though.

How's everyone doing?

I soooo can't wait. We will be arriving at DW the Sunday before our cruise and staying at Pop until Friday then staying at the Radisson the night before. I spend most of my days day dreaming disney. :cloud9:

It makes me so happy to think of how much fun we have as a family at Disney and especially on the cruise.

I will try to catch the chat soon.

I didn't get in until late either and was too tired to switch on the computer.
Sorry!

DH and I went to see the movie Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. I love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, but I think this was a bit too graphic - even though I couldn't tell you how graphic as I had my hand in front of my eyes at all the gory bits - it was bad enough just hearing DH go ugghh! The musical parts of the film were fantastic and the general way it was filmed and the characters etc, and I loved Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs Lovett! Has anyone else seen this?

Last week we all went to see National Treasure Book of Secrets and really enjoyed it! An excellent family movie and I love all the US history bits in these films.

Anyway, sorry for waffling on a bit - back to cruising! I would also be interested in any info relating to Fish Extender gifts - things you have given or received in the past etc.

HI there CruiseBoundnKY - great to see you on here! :goodvibes

I loved this movie too! Really cool since parts take place at Mt. Vernon! We live just about 15 miles south of there and pass it constantly on our way into Old Town Alexandria!! Although, Tori wants to go see the "tunnels" now and I keep telling her that was just for the movie! (Although, there really are tunnels under DC - would LOVE to see those!!!!)

Thanks, Lynn! You have talked me into the Fish Extenders! It sounds like so much fun!!

So, we are:

cabin 6130
Suzie - adult
Ed - adult
Victoria (Tori) - 6
Ameera (Birthday Girl!!) - 2

Cabin 6131
Isa - 16
Abby - 14

What about the other members of your family Suzie?

LOL!!! My laptop is touchy and my hand HOVERED over the mouse pad and posted it! Boy, you sure are quick!! I did edit it but had a little detour! Ameera walked into the room and was babbling to me, but when I looked at her, her pants were gone! I asked her where they were and she showed me that they were on the kitchen floor! SHe had walked right out of them! She's still just so tiny and her waist is still just a bit too small for 12 months clothes! I usually have to pin them on her!

Anyway, got a bit of a side track there but got back to edit it! LOL!

TotallyAngelic, what time is it there? It's 5:18 pm Sunday here....just wondering the time difference...

It's 10:20 pm here - we are 5 hours ahead of you - in fact we are just about to turn in for bed (I need an early night to catch up after a late one last night!)

Your little Ameera sounds ever so cute! I bet she keeps you on your toes - you miss all of that when you just have a bunch of teenagers!

Yeah, she's a handful as is her older sis! But they are just too cute together and really love each other....for now at least! I'm not looking forward to the teenage years at all!!

Good night and thanks for updating us!

Before I go to bed I must just post this ...........guess what.....

......today we have only 250 days to go until the cruise
